Since the Superbowl is only a week away, I thought I'd make an official thread for it. Let the overhyping of the game begin.

Prediction: Patriots

Deciding on who to root for is more about who I want to be disappointed more: the Pats or the '72 Dolphins.

They said the same thing last time they were in the SuperBowl. We all know what happened there.

Well I was going for the Giants to win this game but...I wouldn't put my money on the Giants though. At work today, one of our guys is a Giants fan and was taking bets on the game(win or lose no points)with anyone. So I told him to put his money where his mouth is and placed a small bet with the guy for $20.00.

So I guess I'm kinda forced to cheer for the Pats now...

Hopefully this Superbowl, turns out to be better than the last two.

I like some of the patriots (Wes Welker, Kevin Faulk, Junior Seau, Adalius Thomas) but for the most part I don't like their team as a whole and I would LOVE to see their perfect season come tumbling down at the last second, so I'm pulling for the Giants, and honestly they DO have a decent chance of winning. They have the better running game even though Maroney has shown he is a solid starter and successful running will help keep Tom Brady off the field. Also, if they can generate enough of a pass rush out of their front four and let their LBs and DBs cover and play man to man, Brady is going to have a harder time completing.

I guess we'll see in a few hours though, eh? I don't like predictions, they serve no purpose. That's why they play, to see who is the better team. But I prefer the Giants to win obviously.
