Madden 10 Manual Roster Update

What would be the best way to do this? In Franchise or just from home menu?

Also is there no Stallworth at all in the game due to his legal actions at the time?

Probably easiest to do it from the home menu.

You could theoretically start a Franchise with no cap and manually control all 32 teams and then export each team (in which case, you'd have to load each team's file for when you want to use it), but you'd be unable to create players not in the game in that case such as rookies.

As for Stallworth, I don't believe he's in the game because of his indefinite suspension at the time. Not even as a free agent.

Home Menu under Player Management. That's what I did, in fact I started it back when Free Agency started and made sure everything was up to date as contracts were being signed. Now the only problem, is that when you let players go into Free Agency, they can only sign a maximum of 3 year contracts, so it would be hard to give everyone their proper contracts(Peppers with a 6 year deal, Boldin with 3 extra years, etc.) but you can do that in Franchise and control all 32 teams like Franchise said and fix the contracts to match what they got in real life. I have every team updated to this day, even small acquisitions like Grossman to Washington and Jim Sorgi to The Giants. I update it every time their is a roster transaction.

For Stallworth, I just went into the Free Agency and found a WR who was similar to Stallworth and changed their info to match Stallworth(their name, college info, etc) so I would be able to have Stallworth.

This may sound really odd considering Madden 11 is right around the corner but does anyone know where I can download the final roster update for Madden 10 other than going online and downloading through PSN. I have seen that there are files posted of some roster updates but I can't find the final roster update they did. If anyone has the Final Roster Update(with or without Kurt Warner, preferable the one where they took Warner off the game along with others who retired) if you can send it to me or if there is a place I can download it that would be great. Thanks!

I don't know where you could find the update at, but the idea is certainly not bad. If you don't have 60 dollars to dish out on a game thats most likely changed only in roster and soundtrack, then this idea works 100% better. Heck, I don't recommend this at all, but I still play my old Madden games on the Ps2 just to see how players have changed in ability since that time and also to revisit some of the Ravens and also other teams old rosters. Again, that idea only works if you're a Madden guru/freak, so Madden 10 is a good idea. Just wish mine hadn't got a scratch that prevents it from playing.

Yeah see I'm iffy on getting Madden 11 because of lack of Franchise improvements and I had updated my Roster completely with every major rookie and every acquisition that has happened to this day but than I deleted by accident, I was trying to delete another file and I wound up deleting the updated roster I had made instead. That's why I'm trying to find the last update in which they took out Warner and other retired players so I could use that roster, update all the transactions and get the rookies and be done with it, rent Madden 11 to see if it's worth it and if not I'll know I have Madden 11 pretty much since all it looks like is Madden 10 just with roster updates.
