With LeBron James being the most coveted Free Agent this upcoming NBA Free Agency period, the discussion goes to where everyone thinks he will sign for the foreseeable future. I think the Cavs have the best shot for the simple reason that they can offer him the most money (Larry Bird Rule) and his love of the city and vice-versa.

Now, LeBron isn't the only big-ticket free agent out there: D-Wade, Chris Bosh and others will all be sitting and waiting to see where LeBron goes and if there's enough money left over to possibly join forces with him or another big-time free agent.

July 1 at 12:01 a.m. the Free Agency frenzy begins!

I don't care so much where LeBron lands as who goes there with him.

I'm hoping Wade and Bosh team up and make some runs at a championship.

Also, if the Knicks sign Joe Johnson, you can cross that off the list of LeBron's possible destinations.

I want DWADE for the WIZ. I don't think that's going to happen! LeBron will be the highest paid player after the next contract!

I've heard rumbles that Bosh and LeBron are going to Chicago. Now that's a lineup:

D.Rose
Deng
James
Bosh
Noah
That would be insane... but does LeBron want to live in MJ's shadow?

Yes, but playing IN Chicago only exacerbates the comparison...

Sorry Demon
M.Stein:Mavs F Dirk Nowitzki opts out of contract($21.5 million in 2010-11),becomes free agent
On of ESPN's NBA insiders said Dirk is opting out just to gain leverage for a long-term deal.

I don't see LeBron, Wade and Bosh happening but it would be awesome.

Doesn't it seem ludicrous that these guys are forfeiting a guaranteed $21.5 million bucks???

9 hours and 47 minutes away!!!

Just put Dirk and Yao Ming both on Mavericks. Let both talk in different languages. lolz

Anyway I say Lebron to the Bulls is the backup plan, but cavs are front runner. I say this because he is changing his jersey number to #6 because of MJ wearing #23. Why else would he change it if he isnt going to a team(bulls) who has MJ number #23 retired. Plus Im a Bulls fan, lolz.

I have a Question, When an the players sign with a team? Like if Joe Johnson goes to NY Knicks for a visit can he sign with them right away?

Pierce has gotta finish his career in Boston. Also if LBJ went to the Bulls the comparisons would probably happen every day, and I don't think Lebron wants that hanging over his head.

What team do you guys think Nate Robinson will sign with?

I dont think he is going abck to the Celtics. I say LA Lakers. If Derek Fisher retires, Nate Robinson could come in and play for them.

EDIT:

Nuggets are open to trading Carmello Anthony, does this affect free agency at all? I do. I think LA Clippers or NY Knicks will trade for Carmello.

Dirk just flew home from Germany TO Dallas to talk to Donnie Nelson. It's nearly a given that he's opted out to get long than the 3 years he was going to get from the extension they offered, and to lower his pay so they have more cap space to work with. Just because he opted out doesn't mean he plans to leave Dallas.

I hope the Wizards can trade with Miami Heat to get Michael Beasley. I think Beasley is good, he just gets overshadowed by Wade.
Beasley simply hasn't developed into the superstar he should be considering where he was drafted. Wade has little to do with that in my opinion.

They technically can't "sign" until July 8, but they can certainly make their selection public prior to that, it just won't be official until the 8th.

Yeah, that's totally on Beasely. Wasn't he lazy with his work ethic when he first entered the NBA?
Yep. Maturity was supposedly an issue too.

Lets Go Bulls and LeBron!!!! lolz

leBron set himself a deadline for a decision. July 5th or July 4th weekend, so By monday we should have a decision as to where James will be going. So really in easier terms to understand by next Friday it should be 100% clear as to where LeBron wil be for his future.

OKC Thunder is my 2nd fav. team. I like to have backup team to fall on if Bulls dont do well. Yes I know, its sad, but everyone has 2nd favorite teams. Im sure some of you have 2nd favorite teams in baseball and football.

Fact is Bulls are my top favorite, so I cheer for them more then OKC.
