Which rookie do you think will have the biggest impact on this upcoming season and which rookies do you think won't even make the active roster?

I want Sergio Kindle, Terrance Cody, and David Reed to all make impacts. Mostly Kindle on 3rd Down situations.

Reed might have to wait a while but we can't necessarily count him out of making a big impact. He can do it on Kick Returns and maybe have a Pierre Garcon-Like impact (not post-season Garcon) but can make some plays while flying under the radar.

Kindle is the guy I like the most. I hope he plays consistently enough to make some plays for us on 3rd down like Kruger did, just more consistently. Him being a nice pass rusher and learning from a stud pass rusher in Antwan Barnes (IMO) I think he should pick things up nicely.

I want Cody to be known for taking up double teams along with Ngata, freeing way for Suggs to beat the one on one and Lewis darting in for the sack :P

Cody.

As for not making roster, I would say Harewood and maybe Art Jones.

On "D" I feel it will be Cody, especially against the run. I expect the man to be a run stuffing machine and don't expect teams to be able to move the ball through the middle.

On "O" I like Pitta. He has a knack for running precise routes and finding holes. Possesses great hands and is good at YAC.

I think the next rook that may be leaving will be Prince Miller, unless he can win the return job hands down. Although, I feel David Reed is better at returns. I just don't see him making it as a 5'8" CB in this league unless he's a phenom with his vertical.
Ashton Hall holds the record at 5'11" with a 40" vertical breaking Randy Moss's this past combine, but he's already gone.

Thats because that's all he was good for. Miller has actually been covering receivers at OTAs.

I mean Usain Bolt broke the 100yd dash record but that doesn't mean he should be a wide receiver.

I think the only rookie in danger of not making the roster is Harewood. And, even then, I'm sure he'll be put on the practice squad. He's just a really raw talent, needs some time.

Cody is in the best posistion to succeed. I think Kindle can tear it up, but how much playing time we'll he be getting with the depth we have.

But I have a feeling it might be one of our new TEs.

I just pray that Kindle will be a force either next year or in the future. I hope he's not another oft-injured hybrid who will never live up to the hype.

I think that Cody will make a huge impact, not only on 1st and 2nd, but on third and long as well. If they condition him enough to rush the passer, the sky is the limit. I think that he'll end up being another steal, and a dominant Tackle next to Haloti. I can't wait.

I can also see not one, but both of our TE's making splashes as well. I can already imagine some game winning TD's on some fade routes. It's going to feel great having a redzone threat as well as a younger, fresher Todd Heap.

I'm also aboard the David Reed express. I hope he goes off in the near future as a shifty WR.

Seemingly the only rookie that will start is Cody (or at least get rotations), so I see him in the best position.

No Kindle? I will say Cody and Kindle will equally be effective, Cody can push the offensive line around with Ngata and Pryce leaving Kindle(when or if he subs for JJ on third downs) Ray and Suggs free to go to the QB. Wouldn't surprise me to see Kindle get at least 3 sacks as a Rookie subbing for JJ. The only rookie I can't see making the team is Harewood, it would be great to keep him on the PS and develop him as a RT for 2 years down the line(Gaither is on a tender now and we can Franchise him next off-season) so when Gaither leaves because some team is offering him big money to play LT we'll have a solid RT in Harewood ready to take over. Dickson and Pitta will get some catches as well, maybe both if Heap gets hurt.

Long term wise.... Kindle and Cody will be on this team for quite a while. Granted they'll only have 4 year contracts, but they will both get long term deals when it is time. I expect by their 3rd year, they both will be full time starters replacing Gregg and Johnson in the lineup. Both of our TEs Dickson and Pitta will be here but I expect one of them to outshine the other and being the # 1 TE to take over for Heap. David Reed I can see him more of being a Kick Returner and nothing more, Harewood like I said we should keep him around and just develop him as a RT on the PS, Arthur Jones, he'll provide some good depth to our defensive line but don't expect him to do much unless someone gets injured.

Well I say Cody has the edge because unless JJ or Suggs gets hurt Kindle wont start, and Cody has a good chance of starting on our D.
