Offensive Adjustments

What changes do you think have to be made to our offense?Which needs most improvement- Quarterback, Line, Wideout,ETC? How do you think we should try to improve it via draft, Free Agency, or Trades? Or if your crazy do you think its just fine?

Lets get a Lorenzo Neal type fullback! I think the big factor for LT making those breaks is because Lorenzo gives him those blocks.

I'm not saying pick him up. Just saying it would be nice to have a fullback his type.

K Im guna give ya the run down on everything CHARM STYLE hahahaha

*DEFENSE: Cornerbacks....Get rid of Samari Rolle..he always gets beat deep as well as a few others. And start playing our corners about 5 yds back more on more plays because it seems like they get beat deep alot like I said ^^^

*OFFENSE: QB's...Start to build Troy...we all know what they need to do with him, SO CHOP CHOP!... O-LINE....WE DEF NEED THIS PROBLEM FIXED, Do whatever it takes....WR's...Either recruit some, or do something to like role play them running from the cops because I know them brothas aint run that slow when they were runnin from the po po back in the day! hahaha

*SPECIAL TEAMS: Harbaughs specialty LMAO. Stover's still good...always will be...needs to work on the accuracy at long rangs as well as in the wind.

*OTHER: LOWER BEER PRICES @ GAMES

I'll go position by position.

QB- Out of the guys we have now it should be Troy. He has the most potential and he showed signs of brillance last season. If we get a new guy with our first pick we should give him the ball and just stick with him no matter what (as long as he is showing signs of improvement). A late rough pick should take a backseat to Troy but see ample time in practice incase he is needed.

FB- I think we are good there. La-Ron played incredible for a rookie and I do not believe any changes need to be made.

RB-Obviously stick with Willis as the starter, and promote Ross to the backup. He is the Jones-Drew type of back that can give up the big play at anytime.

WR-We have good young guys that can develop into top notch recievers. Obviously Mason is our stud and should still be our go-to guy next season. I am intrested in picking up someone in a trade (maybe suggs for Fitzgerald) or in Free Agency that can have an imediate impact and give our QB another reliable target.

TE-Heap needs to stay healthy and Wilcox/Quinn are more then capable backups. No changes there.

OL- Here is where we need an overhaul. Gaither needs more grooming, we need to pick up a free agent or two, and we need to get a guy in the draft. If Flynn and JO don't come back we might be in huge trouble unless we make massive changes ahead of time.

Coodinator-Cam is a great choice and can hopefully pick up where he left off in San Diego. I see our offense being ranked between 15 and 20 next season, which is a huge step-up from last year.

QB: we can do one of two choices: One, start troy, plain and simple, or two: draft a quarterback to present a challange to troy. and if the other quarterback is, in fact, better than troy, start him.

FB: no prob here. Just let LeRon develop. Justin's a solid backup.

HB: nothin

OL: seriously people, let the OL develop. they are really talented and deserve more playing time to develop. trust me, once they actually get time to develop and build chemsitry with each other, we will be one of the league's best.

I think that we need a couple more first-round or good FA O-lineman. We also need to start developing Troy Smith. I'm not saying to start him right away. I don't know. Harbaugh will make that decision.

I think that these two aspects of our offense will compliment each other. If the Ravens really work on it we may be seeing Troy Smith in the Pro Bowl sooner than later.

But if we don't start troy right away, who would we start in place of him? kyle boller ? Boller? no way!

just good play calling

Thats EXACTLY it. Im also hoping we sign Bryant Johnson the slot wide receiver from Arizona. 26 Years old, former 17th overall pick, and get this... he's from Baltimore. So you know he would want to come back to his hometown. I like the guy. A lot.

good play calling alongside good Decision making and good management of skills of how to handle certain situations in which can and will affect an outcome of a particular game at some point in time if not immediately...along with excellent teamwork and effective togetherness as a team....put all those items together and you get a offense that is high powered, can score and score big...can make everything count when needed and even when its not, they still move the ball effectively...and such.

All I want is a wide receiver who is consistent, can break out of coverage, and actually shows up for more than 5 games in a season.

Our team is as good as it gets right now. Pick up Mike Jenkins in the draft, we own big time. Seriously, look:

QB-Troy Smith is amazing, if he doesnt start then Ill hate John

WR-Dont know what everyone's problem is, we are loaded!!!! Mason, Figurs, Williams, Clayton, and then Heap option

HB-McGahee shares with Ross

FB- McLain

O-line needs to develop in TC

ST- Stover, Figurs........... :)

Everything else was just injuries.

Would you seriously hate him? What if he sees something everyday, that you do not see? And the idea about Troy Smith is based off of two decent games at the end of the season?

in being this is his first Season ever as a Head Coach and in being as this is his first season ever with the Ravens. of course there will be bumps in the road that lies ahead of us. the trick is to find a way around them and keep moving forward and keep driving...Keep Grinding it out.....Harbaugh Will Put the BEST player's out there that both he and his staff feel like they can or could get the job not just Done and over with, but Done with precision and skill and those types of things. To seriously hate a coach, let alone your Teams OWN coach, is ludacris and completely irrelevalent to whats at hand here. this is s process that HarBaugh had said when he first got here...that this is the type of process that will most likely not have IMMEDIATE turnarounds, though sometimes that could very well be the case in which is presented. but overall...its going to be a building structure, in which all pieces of the puzzle must be in place at the right time in order to make things fit and come together as one.

I just heard that Chad Johnson could (or wants to) be traded do Miami!!!

So it's not a rumour anymore that he wants to go... he will play for another team next year. I hope it will be the Ravens ( my opinion) ;)

last yr a lot of the pre draft analysis Le'Ron McClain was actually compared to as a Lorenzo Neal type blocking fullback

The bengals will not trade a threat like Chad Johnson inside the division. That rarely ever happens. Miami seems more reasonable, both teams could gain a lot for that. Plus we would need to give something up for Chad Johnson. We have many more needs than WR.

The O line needs to be groomed. The talent is there, but it is raw. This is where JO returning next season could be a big help.

As for QB, well, it just better not be McNair.

We have too many injury proned people on our offense. McNair can't play with injuries like he used too, heap is a perennial injury, McGahee has always missed a few games every season.

John wont be picking the QB - that will go to Cam and he will pick who he thinks can win games for us - not who has the most potential - who will win us games. All our QB's and possibly another rookie will be trying out for the position.

And who was saying we need Lorenzo - did you see the rookie phenom McClain tearin up LB's like Ovie used to do for Jamal.

We need to pick up another tough TE like Quinn, I'm sick of Heap wasting money and cap space.

the Line always needs work and thats where John comes in - I like that he stresses Oline and Dline. Those positions need to always improve even if the starters are stacked we can work on the depth.

Another DB like Pittman, even though he got smoked a bunch early in the season he learned quick and you can see how fast he was developing.

the ravens fifst and foremost need to establish a solid O-line to protect smith! also, i think they should draft a promising you WR to build and grow with troy to be the ravens tandem for years to come. FB is good, RB is good, and i'm gonna type this for the millionth time......keep heap!!!

yeah.. its more than just a rumor.. yahoosports.com says..... "Jan 29 Mark Curnutte, of The Cincinnati Enquirer, reports Cincinnati Bengals WR Chad Johnson is asking to be traded to the Miami Dolphins."... there is no way we are getting him in baltimore.. i certainly wouldnt be opposed to it because of his talent, but its not going to happen

Leron does just fine and he's young. With time he will get better.
