For some people, unless you draft CB in the 1st round or sign a big-time FA everyone has heard of, you haven't addressed the position. [/quote]
That's true, but people need to realize that you can't and won't get every big name out there. Besides, in Fox's case, he came in not really well known, but emerged late last year and now has us rightfully believing that he'll become an outstanding player. Especially with a team like us, who drafts no names and transforms them into the elite. We are one of the teams in this league that drafts extremely well and produces talent for other teams to leech off of, not the other way around.

The team has definitely taken great strides in having talented depth at the corner position, so I do feel more confident in the guys backing up the starters this year. However, Harris is entering his, what, 16th season and Fisher is going into his 8th, I believe. As solid back-ups as they may be (hopefully), they aren't the long term answer (as we all know). Pretty soon the Ravens are going to have to look into either drafting a cornerback or signing a young, talented corner from free agency.

Now, if Webb progresses as well as everyone hopes, then maybe he'll turn into the answer to our cornerback woes for the future, and the need to either draft or sign will decrease dramatically. But for this season, we should be okay. Much better than last year when we had Carr, Walker, and Ivy behind Foxy, Webb and Fabs.
