Forget Wrestlemania, tonight is the show everyone will be talking about. NXT Takeover Dallas. Hopefully this isn't the end of Bayley in NXT as I'm afraid for her demotion to the main roster.

Hoping Finn Balor holds on to the NXT Title as I feel Samoa Joe is better off moving to the main roster while Finn stays in NXT. The NXT brand needs mainstays and faces of the brand. If they move everyone up, what's left?

That had to be the worst Wrestlemania since Wrestlemania 27 in 2011. I can not remember a Mania so random in the entire history of WWE. Any fan has to be really happy for Zack Ryder to win the IC Title, he really deserved to have a WM moment like that. Gotta love the Dragonball Z reference by The New Day for their entrance and them losing made no sense. Then post match with HBK, Austin and Foley, made no sense at all. There was all this hype over a street fight between Ambrose/Lesnar and it didn't even feel like a real street fight match. Plus it was way too short, I don't have a problem with Jericho beating AJ Styles at all. To bury the Wyatts further, they have the Rock start an impromptu match and win in 6 seconds to set a Mania record???

Out comes a returning John Cena to help The Rock with the Wyatts? If Cena was that healthy to do that, why couldn't he have been in a damn match? I didn't care for the Battle Royal, happy that a NXT guy won it though. Gotta love how quickly WWE muted the crowd and piped in a bunch of cheers for Reigns winning the title to hide all the boos he was getting.

WWE just can't get over the fact Roman isn't over and will do anything in their mind to think he is over, including editing the crowd noise. Hopefully the Raw after Mania is much, much better.

THIS! Vince is too stubborn to listen to the fans. He wants it done his way regardless of what the fan wants.

With some clear thoughts I will give my synopsis. My mind was clouded because I watched it with my 9 year old and he of course was entertained.

Clearly, this era doesn't do it for the real fans of Wrestling. Thinking back, it didn't do it for me either. I didn't see any real technical moves, no building up in any of the matches, just some finishers with 2 count breaks because it's WM. I remember when you were hit with a finisher, you were done, no questions asked. Only top level talent would kick out at two.

The most entertaining match of the night for me was the Divas. Even that was a little sloppy but you saw some good stuff out of them. It was believable. Charlotte hitting that moonsault was a thing of beauty.

The "streetfight" was abysmal. If this was 1997 that fight would've been in the crowd, the backstage area, the bathrooms etc. it stayed in the ring...

Battle Royal sucked

The Hell in A Cell match. Clearly, Taker just doesn't have the physical tools to be the Undertaker anymore. That should be expected, he's old. He just didn't do anything to wow me besides the entrance. His next mania should be his final IMO. For some reason, I feel Shane wants to bring back the attitude era. They should do it. I don't want to see everyone so happy that they lost or won. Let's have some damn Steveweisers!!

HHH and Reigns.... Man, the champ should be the best guy on the roster, that match was ugly and dominated pretty much the whole time by Hunter. Roman is not very, again I say technical. All I saw was super man punches and spears. Change his name to the Whaler if he just wants to spear. This match was also bad because Hunter can't give a HOF worthy memorable match to save his life.

WWE is going to be faced with real problems because their young blood cannot hold a candle to that Attitude Era talent, and their top talent, just isn't that good. I hope something changes for them. I'll reluctantly watch tonight and see what happens

True, but I think the booking is awful as well. I'm sick of seeing every Raw start off with a promo. Can't it just start with a match? Better yet, can the promo lead straightly into a match? That could be a start (no pun intended).

The WWE has suspended Roman Reigns 30 days for his first violation of the wellness policy.

His suspension is up July 22, the WWE Draft is July 19th and WWE Battleground is July 24th. Going to be interesting to see how this changes the Draft Plans and the Main Event for Battleground.

Watch the ratings slide because Roman Reigns isn't there.  Suspending Roman Reigns is the samething as benching Babe Ruth

Failed a drug test, and that's a big no no to the WWE. Basically the first violation is 30 days, second violation is 60 days and if someone fails it 3 times it's an automatic firing.

I'd never thought I see the day AJ Styles wins the WWE Championship and tonight I got to see it happen. What a fantastic PPV and what a match by Ambrose/Styles for the title. I gotta say though, this is where I do miss the fact that CM Punk is no longer there and the fact Daniel Bryan had to retire due to injury. The matches they could have had with AJ Styles, then you got Samoa Joe in NXT, Bobby Roode in NXT, Nakamura in NXT, as a wrestling fan I feel robbed of these potential dream matches.

Something tells me that Cena beats him once he gets back.
