Yet somehow they stood tall again! 2-0 against Evolution. I didn't think Shield would win at ER and I was surprised. Thought for sure Evolution would win but again Shield won. So Since Wrestlemania, Triple H not only buried himself but his friends as well since Mania. Crazy.

Well that figures Cena would win but come on they needed to have Bray built up for a future wwe title match. He deserves it.

I agree. That was a great match and Bray carried most of it. But the only problem is if this is it for Bray and Cena feud, where does Bray go from here? He won't fight for the championship seeing as he lost the rivalry essentially, hopefully the WWE can find something meaningful for him to do so he won't slip into midcard hell.

What is this? WWE actually made me feel something? I don't know whether to be genuinely pleased or to sob in the corner..

JTG has finally been cut.

The Streak is over...........

JTG has been released!

It seems 2014 is the year all streaks come to an end in WWE.

First it was Undertaker's Streak at Wrestlemania... Then Daniel Bryan's Days as Champion streak.... and now JTG's Forever Employed Streak ended!

TNA Impact Wrestling will demonstrate a new concept after the turnout at Baysox Stadium.  For their next card in the Maryland area, the ring announcer will introduce the fans to the wrestlers instead of the other ways around.

I haven't heard about this - what exactly brought this on?

Essentially, the stadium show bombed and was a huge fail on the part of TNA. I believe there was barely under 300 people in attendance thus the introducing the fans to the wrestlers instead of the other way around joke.

Sorry for the joke, I think if McMahon didn't lose all those millions, he'd make an offer for TNA.  I went to an indie show that drew 1,000 people in a high school gym in Eldersburg, those organizations usually have a WWE Hall of Famer or two to draw people, it was a copromtion of Adrenaline Championship Wrestling and Big Time Wresting.   I saw Jake the Snake Roberts wrestling in a 6 man tag main event.  After his team won, he gave a 15 minute speech on how he turned his life around.  I'll be going to see Big Time Wreslting at the Montgomery County Fair.  Mick Foley and Jimmy Superfly Snuka are the Hall of Famers in action and there will be a hog pen match which they won't have far to find there.

So if you haven't heard by now, if you pre-order WWE 2K15, you get two generations of Sting! The early 90's surfer Sting and everyone's favorite Sting, the Crow version. There has to be some deal lined up with the WWE already and not just with 2K. WWE Shop already is selling a Sting shirt, and in a sit down interview Triple H was asked if Sting would appear in person in the WWE, and he basically said yes but phrased it, it will happen if it's best for business.

I know Vince has to be proud of Triple H and what he has done since taking over more in the backstage but it has to eat at him that Hunter was able to do for years what he couldn't do. Get Bruno to accept a spot in the HOF, get the Warrior back to the WWE and also into the HOF, and now get a deal done with Sting.

I gave in and finally got the network to watch old ECW and Attitude era stuff. I have already watched Vengence 2001 (Where Jericho beats the Rock and Stone Cold in one night) and ECWs Living Dangerously 1999 (RVD vs Jerry Lynn #1) both blow the current PPVs out of the water, it isn't even close. Anyone recommend anything?

All three from year 2000, Backlash, Summerslam and the RR. The first two are top 5 all time for best PPV's ever and RR was fun as hell. I still remember all 3.

The media just can't resist bashing wrestling can they. They live in this fantasy world that wrestling is still about steroids and blame everything on steroids when a wrestler dies. I don't want to even give Nancy Grace time after what she said tonight but damn it. If they take a second to realize what wrestling has become, then just maybe they can see the truth.

This is why Vince calls it Sports Entertainment, he wants to get away from that monkier "Pro Wrestling" for this reason.

ironic huh

Wrestling is just sports entertainment.  Watched some then WWF shows in the '80s that started with "The following is a presentation of the World Wrestling Federation, the leader in sports entertainment."

I always thought they called it Pro Wrestling back then and even in the 90's. Yet I watch a lot of the old stuff on the Network and they were using the phrase Sports Entertainment back then. It's amazing nobody realizes it when they say they want WWE to stop calling it Sports Entertainment and want them to call it Pro Wrestling.

Note to self, never try to rob a wrestler's house. Daniel Bryan and Brie were robbed and when they came home, Bryan saw the guys leave and he even chased one of them down and put him in a rear naked choke for five minutes.

They did get their items back and recovered. I'd imagine he should feel lucky he didn't try to rob Brock Lesnar, now that would take some guts from a thief to do that.

Ive heard they call it that for tax purposes, thats why they call them WWE Superstars instead of WWE Wreslters, to get tax breaks.

One person who did the show on the legendary WNVC Channel 56's show Sports Talk  "Athletic Entertainment'  he said they were mostly entertainers.   ESPN used to have AWA Wrestling on Tuesday Nights and then Roller Derby with the L.A. T-birds being the babyface team and they called it "Slams and Jams".

I remember those Tuesday night gigs on ESPn - I was into wrestling and roller derby more so back then, especially the T-Birds, and so I became more of a fan of those promotions.

My girlfriend dragged me to the DC Armory to see the T-Birds U.S. tour against the Eastern Renegade All Stars.  They still have a couple of all female roller derby circuits in the area, DC Rollergirls who have bouts at the Michael and Son's Dulles Sportsplex and Waldorf and Charm City Rollergirls, don't know the website but just google it.   I still miss channel 56, an independent public TV station that use to show more college basketball than ESPN and the networks, back when the NCAA produced most of the tournament games, they had a 50 hour marathon once of live and taped games, they showed public affairs during the day and sports and all kinds of off beat programming at night.  During commercial breaks in the sports someone came on asking for money to keep it on. Was Pro Wrestling USA, which was the AWA and NWA co-promotion around here, but was the east coast AWA TV show. DC home until channel 50 switched to being an independent station.t. Movies like Reefer Madness, and I saw the original 1984 on the last day of that year.  Sadly they went to an international "World View" format, the last sports programming was Australian Rules Football on Monday nights which ended a couple of years ago.

I won't spend a dime on WWE tickets, I just go to various Indy shows in Baltimore-Washington area.    Went to Eldersburg where Big Time Wrestling and Adrenaline Championship Wrestling packed over 1000 in high school gym, they usually have a WWE Hall of Famer or two on the card to sell tickets.  They have fan fests before bell time and during intermission where you can get autographs, but it costs 20-30 for the bigger names.  I'll be in Gaithersburg at the Montgomery County Fair, for Big Time Wrestling on Friday Night since the weather will be good and its outdoors in the stadium.

NXT is the only thing I watch anymore.

Yeah its so much better than Raw/Smackdown. Most wrestlers on the roster could wrestle circles around 85% of the main roster (especially with Kenta and Devitt there now, and possibly the Young Bucks signing). It also has better booking and storylines, which makes no sense since the writing/booking has been god awful in WWE for how long now?

Eat....

Sleep.....

Conquer  Squash OR Bury(whichever you prefer)

John Cena

My goodness... I'm still speechless. That beating... well it's like a bad car wreck, you want to look away but you can't. Thankfully I can rewatch Cena's first ever burial for only $9.99 A Month.

I was expecting an absolute battle, but it was basically a 20 minute squash match. Lesnar won't be losing that belt for a long time.

Also, the Ambrose/Rollins match on Raw last night was potential MOTY canidate. Great match between them and I hope their rivalry isn't over yet.

Rollins is a joke!  Waste of a character imo.  Nothing he does impresses me whatsoever.  Smh!

NXT Takeover 2 tore the house down. Seriously watch it if you can, the main event was possibly the best fatal 4 way in WWE history, it started off kinda slow, but then all 4 guys killed it. And as usual the NXT crowd was crazy and is comparable to old ECW crowds imo.
