Does anyone know if Lawlers heart-attack was real last night? He was carried away during Kane and Daniel Bryans tag match, so it has me curious.

If that is the case, I do hope he is okay.

Yes, 100% real. I am actually surprised some fans thought it was a work. Lawler was said to be "clinically dead" for 20 minutes until he was revived backstage by medics. It was later reported he was in stable condition, and even Michael Cole was shook up about the whole thing and I never seen Cole so broken down like he was when this happened.

There still has been no update since I went to bed last night, which worries me somewhat but hopefully that means it's good and he is alright.

Even to this day, this speech given by Vince McMahon on the Smackdown after 9/11 gives me goosebumps. It was so powerful, and I commend Vince for writing out a powerful speech like he did.

I hope Lawler makes a full recovery then retires because he's terrible.

The Update on Lawler is that he has had heart surgery and had a stint and balloon put in him.

WWE also posted this update:

LATEST UPDATE: 9/11/12, 12:20 p.m.

As of this morning, Jerry "The King" Lawler is in a cardiac care unit and all his vital signs are stable. WWE will provide additional information as it becomes available. We continue to wish Jerry all the best for a full recovery.

Another Update(5:32PM): After the promo between Cena/Punk/Hart, Cena attempted to talk to the crowd but the ref ran over and told him that Cole was talking. Cena asked the ref about Lawler, and when he was told Cena put his hand over his mouth, looked very concerned and gave the mic to the ref and said "I'm out."

Michael Cole was on FOX News this morning and talked about what happened with Lawler and how when he knew something was wrong, he muted his microphone and immediately called for help. It's a very interesting story and certainly a must watch interview.

Update on Lawler: Turned out he has no brain damage at all from the heart attack, the main concern was that he suffered brain damage. According to his son, he is now awake, alert and responsive. He's still not able to talk but is writing things down on paper in order to communicate with people. Now these aren't notes, these are stories so that should tell people what his state of mind is right now.

JBL did a great job, and lol on the the main event finish, Cena no sells 6 finishers and runs around like he went for a light jog through the park.

I thought JBL did a great job as well, and I actually didn't care if Cena actually would have won because that match they had once again was absolutely fantastic. I don't know what it is but Cena and Punk have great chemistry together and those two are able to work magic in the ring. It was so back and forth, Punk hitting the Rock Bottom and couldn't get it done, I wasn't sure if Punk was going to win.

The funny thing about the finish is that the Boston Crowd had just yelled "This Is Awesome" and like 2 minutes later they ended the match. At that point, they should have extended the match just for a bit or something. I wanted to see more of the match. I thought Cena had won, and while it was childish how he was running around like he had not been in a grueling 30 some minute match, I was confused on when the ref gave Punk the title but whatever keeps the title on Punk is ok with me lol.

Though I must say, my favorite part of the entire PPV other than Cena-Punk was when Kane gave Daniel Bryan a Gatorade bath and said that he was going to Disney World.

"Note to self: catfood, milk and... what was it again?..."

Well he'll have plenty of time to remember what he forgot. John Cena is out 6-8 weeks after having surgery on his elbow. He had some bone chips removed by Dr. James Andrews. WWE.com posted this:

The information published about John Cena's recovery was given toWWE.com prior to surgery. In speaking to Dr. Andrews after the procedure, in light of the amount of work that needed to be done and the number of bone chips removed, the prognosis for recovery is closer to six to eight weeks. Knowing John Cena, the former WWE Champion will do everything he needs to get back in the ring as soon as possible.

Then John Cena tweeted this:

"I am supposed to lay low for SIX WEEKS. I will send surgery photos and video to @WWE so they can see how bad it really was.."

So it looks like we will get a break from John Cena for the next 6-8 weeks which means who will Punk face at HIAC? I have already seen that Big Show has replaced Cena at live events in facing Punk, so I wonder if that is a sign of Show vs Punk at HIAC for the title or maybe they have someone else in mind(Taker, Orton?)

Foley spiced things up but I'm sick of Cena and Punk matches as if Cena is the only person Punk can go against and define himself as one of the best.

This is what happens when the WWE doesn't build up a # 2 face that can step up if Cena ever had injuries. This is all on the WWE for relying too much on Cena. They are going to make a mistake of rushing him back and risk further injury. I actually thought the timing of this injury was fantastic as it allowed Cena-Punk to be remain fresh as Punk can face someone else. I am actually thinking it wouldn't be a bad idea to keep Cena-Punk apart for quite a while(similar to how they separated Cena-Orton after they had so many matches) and save their next encounter for later down the line.

I actually would love to see Foley vs Punk for the title inside Hell In A Cell for the title. I think Foley hinted at it in the promo about becoming a legend and I think Punk is going to refuse the match to Cena and challenge Foley instead.

Just to let everyone know, I decided to apply for a position within the WWE. I have applied to be a Creative Writer! Wish Me Luck!

The Raw ratings are low which means Vince over reacts and decides to show up on Raw. That's right Vince McMahon is returning to Raw to give a "State of the WWE Address" this Monday.

Oh Vince... if you would just hire actual creative writers you wouldn't have low ratings.

Not much can be done about the low ratings right now. It's always tough to compete against Monday Night Football and highly-rated network shows like How I Met Your Mother.

I think it's overreaction. People are still watching the product. The industry has been in a downward (financial) trend as a whole right now. The industry, however, has always been cyclical.

There'll be an upward trend eventually as long as each company does what it can to put on the best product they have to offer. Right now, WWE needs to capitalize on digital distribution and continue to embrace their online presence. I don't mean more Tout and Twitter segments. I mean more video content and storylines extended online.

What is that on Cena's arm? It looks like he got a tattoo.

Glad to see Vince will be back tonight.

That's what I thought but it might be his cast.

That is one crazy cast. Is that why he was gone last week? I missed the very beginning, so didn't hear any explanation of it.

Ryback in another squash match? So they been building up something where if Cena can't wrestle at HIAC Ryback can step in and face Punk and they keep him in squash matches??? That will so make him a serious contender... NOT!

He had surgery on his elbow or arm and he was originally scheduled to be out 6-8 weeks but we all know Cena is a fast healer. WWE is hopeful for a Cena vs Punk HIAC match but been building up tension between Ryback/Punk for a backup plan.

Oh boy...... I really like my chances of becoming a WWE Creative Writer now. Vince is angry backstage at Raw and he actually relieved head writer Bryan Gewitz of his duties and sent him home. In fact in a creative meeting, Vince said he wanted to see some changes and "nobody's job is safe" if he doesn't see changes.

Again, if this is all true, then I like my chances of getting a call from the WWE about being a creative writer, and anyone else want to join me apply now!

It's going to end up being Cena, Ryback, and Punk in HIAC. Who wins?

I gotta be honest, after what I saw tonight I want to see Punk vs Vince at HIAC. I enjoyed the match and Vince/Punk had great chemistry together for their first physical encounter. Though your right, it may end up being a Triple Threat but Vince is backing Ryback so I would not be surprised if it was Ryback vs Punk with Cena given HIAC off.

I'm finishing up CM Punk's boxset right now and it's tied with Stone Cold as the best biographical boxset that WWE has ever released.

One Blu-Ray exclusive extra is Paul Heyman giving a genuine, heartfelt, out-of-character speech about how much he respects CM Punk; his words resonated with me so much, I had to transcribe the entire speech and create a graphic:
