So it looks like next week SD spoilers are out already, I cant find results for the whole show, but I did find the result of one match....

At Wednesday's SmackDown television taping in Laredo, Texas — airing next Friday — Dolph Ziggler defeated Kofi Kingston to become the new Intercontinental Champion. Though the title switch has yet to be officially acknowledged by WWE, Ziggler is nonetheless working as the belt's holder during the company's ongoing tour of Australia. The former Spirit Squad member retained the championship against Kingston at last night's SmackDown live event in Sydney.

I must say Ziggler is getting a huge push by WWE. He now got a title to be built around.

Oh c'mon dude... don't go posting spoilers and ruin the show for others. If you want to ruin it for yourself that's your choice, but don't ruin it for others.

That's why I put the spoiler tags there.

From now on, NO SPOILERS for shows that have yet to air!

Granted, I know FF is behind on some weeks because he watches the shows on DVR, but it's much worse to ruin a show that has yet to air than a show that has already aired but someone isn't caught up on yet.

You're the man, Franny.

I know FF's pain too, I've yet to watch this past SD! since I wasn't home and it's sitting on my DVR. The interwebs and it's dirt sheets are ruining the surprise and magic of professional wrestling! :P

Spoiler tags are fine.

It's "Spoiler" and "/spoiler" (replace the quotation marks with brackets)

So Ive watched several youtube videos on Khali joining NeXuS and then someone posted the same thing here in this thread.

Can someone tell me where this all started? Is Khali the much bigger picture? Plus Khali isn't even a top star anymore.

If Khali is the one who defect's at Summerslam, then screw Team Cena.

It started on RAW when Nexus chose not to attack him, and they said during a promo that they'd consider having him join Nexus instead. I think that's where it started, I forgot.

I do not really think Khali will join, he doesn't fit the image at all. He'd stick out like a sore thumb and, in my opinion, bring the whole group down a notch.

Nah Eli Cottonwood would make a better weirdo in Nexus lol

I don't think it'll happen, I think it was just a one-and-done thing that was meant to further the night's theme of dissenssion with the RAW 7. The suspicions that Khali would join Nexus, along with Edge not wanting Khali on the team, was just to give him a reason not to get along with Team Cena and to partake in the end-of-show brawl.

Anyone else bothered by Kane's entrance theme? I'm confused when the pyro hits and then the intro starts, rather than the old days when there'd be the intro and then the pyro when the percussion hits. The familiar riffs of Kane's old themes are absent and I'm never really sure where the theme picks up. It's like they got lazy in re-working his theme after the license ran up for the Finger Eleven-performed rendition.

I miss Slow Chemical with a passion that song would get me pumped to know even Kane was coming it still plays on my mp3 player as on of my training songs

Just watched a classic promo from 8-12-01 Rock and Austin in the ring the Monday before Survivor Series WWF vs Alliance this is the type of promo I miss

With the way Cottonwood flipped out when he was voted off, I wouldn't be surprised if he showed up with Nexus.

That was a little-remembered gem, primarily because people tend to want to forget the Invasion angle.

Rock and Austin in the ring for maybe 20 minutes, trading sly insults, singing songs together and then ending with a fake-out handshake leading into a Rock Bottom. The way Rock said, "The Rock will never, EVER forget" gave me goosebumps.

Cottonwood and Titus Oniel both joinign NeXuS? Both are big dudes. I think that'd be cool having NeXuS recruit NXT 2 guys.

Tidus suffered some type of injury hence the quick surprise elimination so he may not be in any picture

There's no point in doing that because it'd only further solidify the notion that there are barely any guys within the faction that will go on to have successful singles careers after the group breaks up. Outside of Wade Barrett and Justin Gabriel, none of them really seem like they'd make it on their own and WWE needs to continue to build them up as a threat, both individually and as a group.

To add NXT 2 guys to the mix would make the group less effectively, as it'd make it seem like anyone can join the faction randomly. It smacks too much of what killed the nWo (and eventually WCW as a company)

Drew McIntyre Talks About Being Vince McMahon’s “Chosen One”

WWE

star Drew McIntyre was recently interviewed by Slam Wrestling and spoke about the strong push he's gotten so far and what it's like being Vince McMahon's "chosen one."

McIntyre says despite the fact that he's still one of the newer faces in WWE, he's already got all the tools to be a top star and is rising to the top for a reason.

"There's a lot of hype for a good reason," McIntyre said. "I don't know. Maybe it's just me, but I believe in my head, but I feel that... when I was home in Scotland, I was watching some of the guys in TV talking about how they don't get an opportunity, blah blah blah, Drew McInytre was the Chosen One, and he gets these opportunities. Then I think about it from my point of view. Wait a minute, and I honestly believe this, if an actor in Hollywood has been an actor for 20 years, and some new kid comes along, perfect for the role -- he's good-looking, he's right, he's good-looking, foreign, he's got a sweet accent -- this is the guy they're going to want; we don't know if he's got the tools yet, but they'll give him the opportunity to see how he does, and if he does well, fantastic. If he doesn't, ugh."

McIntyre says there's pressure that comes from being Vince McMahon's hand-picked "next big star," but it's nothing he can't handle.

"I love pressure," said McIntyre. "I work best under pressure. ... It was pretty much what I'd been working for, for my entire life. This is all I've wanted, I worked hard at it since I was a kid. I worked hard in the gym. I've worked very hard to get that thumbs up from the boss himself. It was just justification in my head that all this has paid off. I get the opportunity to do what I always believed I was destined to do. ... It just feels like it's in my blood."

Hmmm I still think Drew should have on the Smackdown MiTB with this push he is getting. Its a shame, I mean they should have kept the IC belt on him a little longer. Ihope Mcintyre has a match at Summerslam. Maybe triple theat match, Kofi vs. Ziggler vs McIntyre. I mean Summerslam needs to get beefed upp, so a triple threat atch wouldn't be a bad way to start the summerslam PPV off.

Well maybe... I mean I'm not going to spoil anything but Ziggler faces Kingston for the IC Title this Friday on SD and judging from the spoilers it seems like they are going for a Kofi/Ziggler feud. Though I'm glad Ziggler is getting a push again, if that midget botcher Rey Mysterio would have been willing to put Ziggler over a few years back, Ziggler would be in a much better spot right now, maybe he would have walked away with MITB at WM or at MITB instead of Swagger and Kane. I blame Rey for stalling Dolph's career. As much as Drew needs a push, I'm glad Ziggler is getting one first, but I wish they toss Vickie Guerrero she's useless, she is not with Edge anymore so she is useless and why does Teddy not do anything and stop her from changing matches. Ziggler was fine on his own when Vickie was with Edge, and because of Rey Dolph lost credibility and has been stuck in mid-card, and now Vickie is there to help get him over which he don't need, he was already getting over by himself.

What does Rey have to do with Ziggler? lolz

Rey didn't put over Ziggler when they were feuding for the IC Title. Ziggler was becoming a star and the crowd got behind him during a couple of their matches, and he was just on the cusp. But Mysterio didn't want to do the job and, because Mysterio knows he's so crucial to their Latino demographic, he has a lot of sway backstage and they decided to keep the belt on him.

Oh wow Rey is a jerk.

He's just playing his cards right. But yeah, it's been well-known that certain stars have sway because of their appeal to certain demographics. It's all about ratings. The reason why Rey has been largely kept on SmackDown is because UPN and The CW had been more widely available to Hispanic households than the channels that housed RAW. Khali is kept on the roster because he is a goodwill ambassador for the company when they tour India. William Regal is their ambassador when they tour the UK. Sheamus and Drew McIntyre have jobs because of their appeal to Ireland and Scotland, respectively.

The idea of WWE being an international company in every sense is represented by their roster, as their roster intentionally has worldwide appeal. That's also why there's many gimmicks that take on a nationalist slant, like Canadian wrestlers playing up their Canadian citizenship. It's all about the ratings.

Yep pretty much. Franchise was right Rey was just playing his cards right and even though fans were upset that Rey wouldn't put him over, and I was too because Dolph was going to be a star and could have kicked off the youth movement sooner if Dolph was allowed to go over on Rey. I still don't like Rey for the fact he injures Taker, gets his spot and wins the WHC, Rey was AWARDED for injuring Undertaker.
