Mmmmm, Sunny. I was supposed to go meet her at some autograph signing last month, but ended up too broke for the hour long drive to where it was held :(

I got the chance not too long ago(for her age and past history with substance abuse,i think she still looked pretty good),damn signing wouldnt allow photos which really disappointed me cuz i was like its freaking Sunny, but hell I got a hug and a peck on the cheek(I worked the charm),so I went home happy.

I'll be tweeting my thoughts on the show in-progress rather than hitting up this thread regularly. I'll still stop in, but i'll likely be back at the end of the show with my final thoughts.

Last night's show was a waste of two hours. I'm not excited for SummerSlam at all. Not even worth watching, if you didn't see it; just read the recaps.

I will say Raw next week is somewhat better than last night, and they do have some momentum going with Team Cena falling apart and Khali maybe joining Nexus, so next week isn't all that bad but certainly is better than last night.

Khali?

Also I hope this is the start of a John Morrison heel turn. I liked him better as a heel on ECW.

So, just watched Raw for the first time in years. It kinda caught my attention with Cena's "army" with Jericho saying he feels like its his team, and Nexus just dominating. But still nothing, I think, is really worth watching. I might watch a couple episodes now and then, but I am looking forward to Smackdown vs Raw 2011 though xD

I didn't think Raw was that bad. I loved seeing Cena's/Jericho's/whoever's team falling apart, although it seems to bode at a Team Raw win at Summerslam, which I do not like. Nor do I like The Miz's attempt at cashing in his contract being interrupted, I'd love to see an Awesome WWE Champion. Oh well, as long as they do not make him the first to lose his match, I'm fine with it.

As for the idea of Khali joining Nexus, I hate the idea. He does not fit in one bit with the group. Instead of being The Nexus, it'd be more like "The Nexus... With the Great Khali". Regardless, I loved seeing Gabriel 450 Splash puny Evan Bourne.

You know i thought WWE banned those Ric Flair chest chops?

and yet that Chinese wrestler, Toshi or Yoshi or Tatsu, hell whatever his dumb name is. He used them in the match against NeXuS.

Yoshi Tatsu.

With Eli Cottonwood flipping out on NXT, they should just add him to the Nexus. Why? Because it obviously didn't matter last season whether or not you were eliminated, why should it matter this season? ;)

That'd be cool, let NeXuS expand into somthing...Well in the words of Barrett expand into something much much much Biggah.

If WWE wants to spice up the angle, start adding the NXR2 guys to NeXuS, except the winner of it declines to join which I hope is Mike McGillicutty.

Despite whatever way the angle ends, I'm hoping they don't disband the Nexus right away. Personally, I'd like to see the group expand, or even replace some of the... "weaker" members with some of the stronger NXT2 rookies.

Well guys, Im deployed so I started watching wrasslin' again for some entertainment. I have to say I am impressed with how they have the Nexus group running. Very stong individuals who totally dominated a watered down Raw 7. I have to say though, I am not impressed with the Cena Armys little problems. It comes off as too predictible and thoughtless in my opinion. I just dont know about Raw though. Their superstar lineup is not very impressive either.

My thoughts on Nexus is; it is very reminiscent of the NWO. Matter of fact I wouldnt be surprised if one of the Cena team members walked out and HHH joined (with his injury) and didn't wrestle in the match until it was down to HHH and Cena, then HHH rolls in and delivers a Pedigree. That would be the same as Bash at the Beach 97' when Hulkamania turned heel. I think they have a good thing going with Nexus and I wouldnt want to see it ruined by everyone and their sister being allowed to join. Essentially I believe the NWO was the end of WCW. It just became so uninteresting with a lineup of WCW against a lineup of NWO. The medians of the program are what makes it entertaining. When you make all of Raw the Good Guys and a growing Nexus the bad guys, it will make the show lackluster.

Randy Savage On Good Terms with WWE? “I do not know any more than most fans about WWE’s updated relationship with Randy Savage or what the future holds for WWE/Savage, if any thing. It seems that a marketing arrangement has or is being established and one could always speculate that could eventually morph into more. Yes, Randy Savage is deserving of the WWE HOF and perhaps one day he will be inducted which would be a great moment for his many, loyal fans. Until then, let’s just sit back, be patient and wait.”

this is from Jim Ross' blog

I really hope this is true because Savage deserves to be in the HOF,I have waited years for this and after seeing alot less deserving names go in hopefully this is the year or soon.I was a Savage fan growing up not Hogan

OOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHH YEEEEEAAAHHHHH!

Well let's see if this clarifies it for you. http://www.sescoops.com/wrestling-news/wwe-news/savage-promotes-action-figure-three-wwe-stars-join-twitter/

As reported earlier, Mattel announced yesterday during San Diego Comic-Con International that Randy Savage had been signed by the company to take part in their “WWE Defining Moments” action figure line. Video has since surfaced of Savage cutting a classic “Macho Man” promo hyping the acting figure, which can be viewed here (starting at the 2:00 mark). He said Mattel is making more figures of himself from different eras of his career and vowed “2011 will be the Macho Man’s year.”

The Video is on the page, and amazingly the little promo Randy cuts on his action figure is much better than any promos we have seen recently on RAW/SD.

Thats because Savage was a legend back in the day I even loved the Macho Madness from WCW.I grew up a Savage fan.He was my standard before Undertaker showed up.I have been pissed the past few years because yes they were deserving,Macho deserved it more.

Good Find JO I will be getting any Mattel figs they release of him for my wall of collectables(yeah yeah I am a nerd)Can not wait to go hunting it down lol

Anyone else bothered by Kane's entrance theme? I'm confused when the pyro hits and then the intro starts, rather than the old days when there'd be the intro and then the pyro when the percussion hits. The familiar riffs of Kane's old themes are absent and I'm never really sure where the theme picks up. It's like they got lazy in re-working his theme after the license ran up for the Finger Eleven-performed rendition.

I am. His entrance used to be scary as <crap> bro. It'd go all dark and only dark red lights would surround the arena, now its...just dumb and un-appealing to watch.

I recently have become a big fan of Cody Rhodes. This "Dashing" Cody Rhdoes gimmick could really work for him. Actually it is working for him. Honestly if WWE were to put the U.S. title on him, I'd be fine with that.

Yeah Kane's entrance isn't what it used to be but all well. Cody Rhodes is alright, I'm surprised that right now he is actually doing better than his Legacy counter part Ted Dibiase. It's a good gimmick that allows him to be himself unlike Ted who has his father's gimmick.

Does anyone think that Vickie Guerrero is useless right now? I mean granted she is suppose to help Dolph get over but Dolph doesn't need her, I don't know why she is involved with Dolph and still employed. I mean especially when she makes matches and changes thing right on the dime when last I checked Teddy is the GM, and even if she is the official consultant, wouldn't she have to consult with Teddy before making matches and changing things. I'm really waiting for the day Teddy steps in and stops Vickie from changing things and making matches. It was great when she was with Edge, it worked but now, she's useless with Dolph.
