What Did You Get For Father's Day?

17 posts in this topic

First off,

Happy Fathers's Day to all the dads.

What did you get for Father's Day...and what did you really want

I wanted season tickets to the Ravens game....

The wife got me a one of those portable GPS devices so I could easily find my way to 1101 Russel Street...good enough...

I didn't get anything. However, I'm not a father so it would have been a little weird if I had gotten a Father's Day gift.

I got an 8 person Coleman tent.
We slept in it last night out in our field.
Good times!

Wasn't expecting anything, but I was handed my Grandfather's WWII discharge and his dog tag. Then my Uncle gave me one of his guitars. I was blown away.

Hung out with the children at the zoo, then we went swimming and the local museum. Then we headed out to Denny's for lunch and home. I took a nap, and woke up to my present on the table. Replica Ravens jersey with "DAD" and the #1 on it (the wife)... the kids got me a plastic trophy that read, "World's Greatest Dad". Then we had a cookout and I passed out on the couch... I'm getting too old.

My father and daughter are in Heaven, so guys, take a moment with him to be grateful.

I'm sorry for your losses. I've learned to cherish the time I have with my father, my sister, and my mother. I'm sure they were looking down on you, wishing you a perfect day.

I got my dad a funny card with some money inside. You know dad's, they say they don't want anything, but if you don't get them anything, they throw a fit.

My son... he was born a bit early, 2 weeks ago, but the greatest gift I could ask for...

Only a few more years till I get some funky breakfasts!
