Incase you guys don't know JOhnson had an injury all of last season. He toughed it out though and went all 16 games. He then went on to lead the team in sacks. This season he does not have an injury you can only wonder how many sacks he will get , either way JJ will be fine he has 3-5 great years left in him.

Did we forget the paycut he took just to stay in Bmore? For someone to play at that level ALL of the time and be passionate enough to one organization to accept a lower salary to keep your purple and black on... Id be sure to have that kind of heart on the field come sunday.

Kruger is a player we had no business drafting in the first place.

My opinion on JJ is this year will be the determining factor on whether or not we keep him post 2010. If we start seeing a lot of SK on the outside then I suspect we won't keep him. We drafted SK as his successor.

I've always liked Kruger. I think he will be a very good pro...a Pat Kerney kinda guy.
But I was peeved when we passed on Sean Smith and took Kruger instead.

Well, first off I don't think you should give up on Kruger just yet. I am an Alabama fan and I saw his talent when we played against Utah in the Sugar Bowl the year before last. He has raw talents and I seriously believe he can eventually be a very solid contributor for the Ravens. I mean, look at that INT he returned to the house last year against the Steelers. The guy makes plays, he just needs to learn to play with more consistency. Now, being a HUGE Alabama fan as well as a HUGE Ravens fan, I believe that the Ravens should keep Jarrett. The guy grinds it out each and every week and is the true definition of a team player. Even if Sergio Kindle comes along (which I definitely think he will) I believe that the Ravens should keep JJ as a backup. Think about having three (JJ, Suggs, and Kindle) fresh pass rushing linebackers in the 4th quarter versus someone such as the Steelers or the Colts. You have to consistently put pressure on Payton Manning and Big Ben or they will eat you alive. With the combination and rotation of those three, we could have potentially have the highest sack percentage in the NFL.
