Tats

101 posts in this topic

I have two. One on my back on my shoulder its supposed to be an eagle gripping a heart with its claws..its needs some touch up though not very bright. The other one is a little cartoon devil on my hind quarters (didn't want to get into trouble by cussing lol) LOTS of detail and pretty colorful and hurt a LOT!

Right-shoulder, Celtic shield w/ a lion's head & a banner above it, reading "Trenton" (my son).

I got it from a local shop in Central Indiana, however, the artist was visiting from Asheville, NC. Did an amazing job for $200. Now, just to get the other three tats.

[i]Top-neck, between the shoulders, a scarecrow with Celtic shield made of straw, banner reading "Joshua".

Left-shoulder, a tin-man with a Celtic shield made of metal, banner reading "Zachary".

Last but not least, I'd love to get a Ravens logo or shield on my chest. The logo would probably go on my bicep or forearm while the shield I'd put on my chest. Who knows, maybe both.

<I'll see if I can't find my tattoo on his website. Had pictures of it on my old laptop, never thought to copy them over.>

I have two tattoos, both on my left forearm. It's the beginning of my sleeve that will be made up of my favorite bands:

The picture on the left is the Trivium logo, while the picture on the right is DevilDriver's. Both pictures were taken a few hours after they were done, so there's some bruising visible (personally, I thought my DevilDriver cross looked kind of cool with the red heh).

Two of the rest of my planned (since you can only include four images in each post) are the following:

The left image is shogun in Japanese,it goes along with the cover of the Trivium album of the same name. Will go on the top of my forearm, just below the back of my hand. On the right is Coheed & Cambria's Keywork design. This will be on the side of my bicep. Probably will also be in red to throw some color in the sleeve.

Uh... yeah. That's all I got now for this post, since I cannot put anymore images in this post. However, I have two more designs that I plan on getting done. The rest of the sleeve I have not decided upon.

Eventually I'll have a Ravens tattoo somewhere, however that's far into the future so I haven't given it much thought. Same goes for if I want a sleeve on my right arm.

Funny. I thought the same thing when I first had mine done. Loved the way the bruising made everything "pop" so to speak. You been back to touch them up at all?

Wasn't able to find it on his site, otherwise you'd see mine the same as Demon's above (with the bruising). Anyway, I did get clever and take a webcam photo with the new computer <I say clever because it's 2:30 in the morning!!>. Anyway, here you go...

...Rockin' the farmer's tan too, that's an added bonus! <Outside of the rain, it is 90-degrees at all times and between the swimming in the river & playing football... I feel like an over-microwaved Hot Pocket!>

Nah, they healed perfectly actually. The only thing is that didn't "age" well, so to speak, was the white ink on the T. But it's hardly noticeable and the overall tattoo looks great. I may see what my artist thinks whenever I go back for another one, he's a stickler for how his work looks. If he's not happy with it, he'll touch it up, for free of course.

Devil (abstract) on one shoulder blade, Angel (WWII style bomber pin-up girl) on the other shoulder blade. Taurus constellation on my right bicep.

getting my first tat when I get home from Kuwait. My wife to be and I are getting eachothers names. She had the bright idea to say hey lets pick the spots for eachother too. I aint saying where I chose (not the tramp stamp area) but She decided that her name down my rib cage would look good.....WHY!?!?! why the ribcage? I hear its one of the most painful places!

Pray for me lol

Yup. Blending funny with the strict conditions here is a slippery slope.

You can get funny without crossing the lines, but some don't see it that way and get angry when their posts get deleted so its easier to keep the peace with out it.

Yup and funny is kinda subjective--I saw a tat on someones back peeking up over the waist band her jeans--can't imagine what that will look like at 40 lol

If it sags, like many tattoos do with age, it might look like the little guy is trying to escape the cheekage crevice.

Funny, because this is actually something I have been thinking about. I currently have a Harley Davidson tatt on my right delt that is an eagle with flames for wings carrying the bar and shield.

I want to get something now on my left deltoid to 'balance' it out. I am thinking about a cartoon devil with both my kids names somehow incorporated into it. hmmm.....

I have one on my left forearm that's of my Gemini Zodiac symbol. I plan on getting a full sleeve on just my left arm though. Nice to meet another Ravens fan from California! I'm from Sacramento.
