Even though Ravens are thinking about signing Ken Hamlin, Ken Lucas, and Walt Harris, Oshiomogho Atogwe is a unrestricted agent from St. Louis and is the youngest out of the other agents. He has 74 tackles, 1.0 sacking average, 3 forced fumbles, and 2 interceptions. Seattle is looking at Atogwe and might sign him soon. He could take over Ed Reed's position if he decides to retire next year. Oshiomogho Atogwe is healthy and is ready for a team to go to a Super Bowl.

Uh...who has said they're thinking about signing Atogwe?

Between the the other three, Lucas is the best option in my opinion. Why Hamlin is being considered is beyond me but I'm just a fan. I like Harris more than Lucas but Ken is much younger(in CB years) and didn't suffer a torn ACL last year.

Atogwe, but its just wishful thinking
It's wishful thinking on so many levels.

Where will he play this play? The team didn't just sign Landry to ride the pine and play special teams.

Atogwe wants a long-term deal. Why would the Ravens tie even more money up in the cheapest position in football?

Lucas is a CB with great size at 6' 205. If he is signed (and I think he will be) it helps improve the depth of the CB and would be the 2nd former Seahawks DB we signed this offseason. We have less and less Carr type corners in 2010 and more physical specimens. Overall, the corner position is looking pretty formidable and injects a lot of size compared to last year's squad...

5'11 Foxworth
5'10 Webb
5'11 Washington
5'9 Carr
5'10 Fisher
6' Lucas
6'1 Williams
6'1 Gerard

I like how the corps is shaping up. Solid veteran depth with upside by being in a better system, and increase in size for the reserve corners.

Looks good...

I'm down with Lucas. He's a veteran who could wonders for our defense. Simply put.

That plus the fact we need one more, proven, physical DB.

Lucas is 31 years old, and 29 isn't 'relatively young' in football time scales.

Otogwe would be a dream come true.... but this isnt Madden it is the NFL so that will definitely not happen unless Reed anounces the will be his last season, but it would still be unlikely we sign him because either him or Laundry would ride the bench for a season and Zibby is still there to replace Reed, not to mention we dont need another safety.

Lucas is probably the best option, although I would love Atogwe. Wishful, yes. Expensive, yes. But he is a very good player.

Well, Mr. Adam Schefter just tweeted that the Ravens have signed Ken Hamlin to a one year deal.
Filed to ESPN: Former Cowboys Pro Bowl S Ken Hamlin reached agreement on a one-year contract with the Baltimore Ravens.
