Joe is clearly not a Peyton Manning, Tom Brady or Drew Brees. However, I do think Joe has the disposition, talent and skillset for guide this team through the playoffs and Superbowl. Joe has two issues that could result in problems for the team; (1)he holds the ball too long and (2) he often "stares down" receivers. It would also help if he became more effective at using the pump fake, much the way Peyton and Brett Favre uses it. Not only does the "O" line need to keep Joe upright this year, they need to minimize the frequency with which Joe has to scramble. Joe makes many of his passing mistakes when he is flushed from the pocket.

I don't think he's clearly anything. All we've seen is his first two seasons. After Manning's or Brees' first two seasons, no one called them top tier QBs.
