@RideorDieFan18

You can be a Ravens fan but not a Flacco fan. It's a pretty simple concept. I really do hope I'm wrong but it's very doubtful. I nailed the Boller prediction on the head. Flacco's ridding the D and running game getting credit for the wins.

Maybe some one here can clear this up for me I left a comment on a article a few days ago where I referred to Pittsburgh Steelers as the Pittsturd Squeelers and my comments where edited out like used foul language. I have been on this and other sites like NFL.com and have seen racist thing said and that stuff seems to slip through the cracks but you add a word like TURD onto something and the editors of this blog act like you just typed <note that intentionally misspelling cuss words to bypass the obscenity filter is also a violation of the Code of Conduct>. what are we lining in Russia freedom of speech and TURD is not foul language . the editors of this blog must work for sesame street. we are grown men on this blog mot 5year old children.

There is nothing to dislike about Ray Rice. He has character, talent, and heart to take him a long way towards a great pro career.

Flacco is on his way, and I hope that he proves his detractors wrong. Why would you hope otherwise?

Also Wtrent1 please offer something useful to add, I am convinced you are a Steeler fan bro.

RavensFanThick&Thin you are right the stuff kids and women hear at games is much worst than 95% of the stuff people say at games and I just feel that context has more to do with it than the language. if you say jerk like "His head was pulled in a jerk manor" . Thats fine but if I verbally assault someone on this site by calling them a jerk thats something else. And I think every body knows that if you say hey that player so and so is a TURD you don't physically mean a bodily excrement you are using it in a slang meaning that player is worthless or no good .
Vann, you just need to get used to controlling yourself while you're on this site. If you want to communicate with language fit for an all-adult audience, go to a bar. This site, however, has visitors of all ages and backgrounds, and as such, will be considered a civil environment.

Save the flaming for ESPN.com or other sites. If you're a Ravens fan, this is home... conduct yourself accordingly.

for anyone knocking flacco or saying hes not a fan but is of the Ravens...yes he does have a good defense behind him but give him at least some credit. A. He has had some great days at the office and some not so great ones as well. but at the end of the day hes entering his 3rd season already holding almost every record held by a QB in Baltimore after ony his first 2 seasons. now you might not think that is much of an achievement but I think that Flacco's stats are just as good if not better than Peyton Manning's first 2 years in the league. Having said that there are always some factors to stats depending on the teammates and coaching strategy but I think those two factors were in Indy's favor as well...think about it, the Ravens were always a Run-first team. As you start to incorporate more passing plays(with a new coach and new QB plus new OC) it could take a little time to bring everything together. Last year I think they did really good to score more than 30 in 5 out of 7 games. I think well see more of that this year. Flacco should have open receivers on at least half the plays because Rice is so dominant(even when being doubled) never mind this year when it wont be possible to double him. I know my opinion is biased but I've had knowledged friends come up to me and tell me my team looks unreal on paper. Know time for Harbs and Flacco to show people that they are the answer. (not Rex Ryan)
Go Ravens!!! Big D here we come

The only credit Flacco gets is not tripping and falling when he is handing the ball off to the 2010 NFL MVP Ray Rice.

Anyone saying that Flacco is riding the defense, please go back and watch the first 6 games of this season and tell me who won those games; our defense or Joe Flacco and the offense? Here's the answer: The offense.

Now, what happened, you ask?! It's simple: after the bye week, Cam Cameron took all of those trick plays and 3-4 WR sets and threw them out and said "Joe, you're going to hand the ball off and when we throw it, Mark Clayton and Derrick Mason will be the only receivers on the field and both of them will be doing curls or GO-routes, good luck".

So you can see that Joe is just doing the best with what he had, which was not much.

First 6 games we went 3-3 with 2 of those wins coming against KC and CLE so that's not much to brag about. He threw 5 INTs, sacked 10 times and had 3 fumbles but luckily recovered them all.

Cam was smart after the bye week to go back to running the ball and playing D. The curl to the sidelines and go routes cut down on his INTs. Remember the IND game when Flacco tried to throw it across the middle to Ray Rice but he was triple covered?

People who think Joe doesn't have what it takes this season need to compare his performance and progression to ...say, Trent Dilfer's 1999 and 2000 seasons.
Its not all about the QB. Its about the whole team.

Why is it that people have beef with Joe? I mean he throws the average amount of pics and he threw a good amount of TD's last year he can only go up from here because each year he progressed in another facet of his game. I chalk it up to people just yearning for a great QB for our team take it easy we all want Joe to succeed it just takes time to mature he is growing before our eyes I love the conviction people speak with (or type with) that just shows people care about him

Joe has already hit his ceiling, what you see is what you get. He'll have a good game or two but that's it. When they money is on the line, PITT 2 years ago and both playoff games last year, he doesn't perform. He has a too relaxed attitude and is not a leader.

Joe is only going into his 3rd year in the NFL from a low competion level school. He's been to the play offs in his first 2 years. Payton Manning didn't even do that. He is the best QB the Ravens have ever had. I feel after this year you will see the new and inmproved Joe Flacco. Wacco for Flacco!

Zorn will make Joe a better passer. He still has a long way to go no doubt. They need to take the restraints off him so he can develop properly. Open the offense up!

I love how people ripp Joe, but he put up some pretty good numbers i thought. What about Matt Ryan, whats your excuse for him. Flacco did way better than he did, without the weapons. So how can you talk about him. Hes still learning and will be better this year. I'm feeling 4,000 plus. and another thing, the chargers game last year was won by our Offense, not our D. We gave up 430 passing yards. Flacco won that on for us. He put us in Position to win the Vikings and Patriots game. In the first 6 games, it wasnt his fault we went 3-3, it was the defense.

GO FLACCO AND RAVENS!!!

I have been saying this and will keep saying this, if that hillbilly Jared Allen hadn't stepped on Flaccos ankle in the Vikings game, Joe would have put up some incredible numbers for the rest of the season. Joe was never the same after that game because he was playing hurt. He couldn't plant that well on the foot and it affected his throwing mechanics in a major way. Coupled with the bruised torso/hip, Flacco couldn't finish the season at the level from which he started.

It's obvious that the injuries affected him. His numbers were insane and there was no reason other than injury that should have kept him from playing at the same level for the rest of the season.

Also, our WR corp looked like a bunch of fools by the second half of the season. No one could get open for Joe.

Its going to be different this year!

Somewhere Over the Rainbow is a better song than the argument that Flacco is a good/bad Qb. Let the numbers do the talking. Who led the Ravens in the Vikings game??? Who led the Ravens in the Patriots game (1st one)??? Who led the Ravens to the playoffs at QB?? Oh wait a minute, wait a MINUTE, was that man named Flacco???? Thought so... Case closed.

actually J.O.14... it WAS actually the defense that won the chargers game. the offense did its part, and the defense did give up alot of huge plays but it was our redzone D that kept them out of the endzone all game that won the game

Mark Sanchez is a 'bit' overrated. People think he's the next Joe Namath, but just because you drafted a supposed hero at QB in the first round doesn't neccessarily mean he's gonna be good. He may end up like John Elway, who threw worse his Rookie year than Sanchez, but all signs point to him ending up like Boller, Leaf, Russell, and Carr.

I think will be ready.
He is showing more confidence, a little more of a chip on his shoulder, in a good way. He needs to have that confidence that he can do anything and start taking more chances with his arm. 5yd dumps will not get us all the way. Although a 5 yd dump to Rice or Q can end up a 20-30 yd gain. Looking forward to it

Just keep adding weapons for him...like T.O. We have a vet laden locker room that would keep T.O. in check. I think he still has good years ahead of him, like once throw away vet Derrick Mason. The guy can still play and his window for a ring is closing. He kept his mouth shut in Buffalo and they were awful.

I think Williamson is just torqued Flacco realized Pitt wasn't worth his time. Good to see the boy came to his senses early in life.

Clearly Mr. Williams doesn't actually watch Ravens games. He would know we win with defense. The offense is bonus, albeit lots and lots of bonus.
