3rd Highest Ranked Team In Madden 11

18 posts in this topic

Hey guys,

According to gamespot, we are the third highest ranked team in Madden 11, with a score of 90. We are right behind the Saints and the Colts. The Jets and Vikings are 4th and 5th to round out the top 5. I know it's only madden but it's always good to get some love. I always buy Madden so this is interesting to me. Hopefully we can turn it up in real life and prove we're number 1!

Not surprising. The Ravens have a great team on paper and all signs signify they should be able to transfer that to the field.

How surprising, the AFC North and NFC East are the two most "competitive" division in the game :P It's nice to see us sitting atop the North in overall rating for a change. Seems like EA is always on the Steelers' bandwagon year in and year out.

97 is a bit too high for Rice. I'd imagine 95 probably.

He was a 90 in 10' so a +5 would be very nice.

Regardless, I buy Madden every year, and it's nice to finally get some recognition coming from EA Sports where Baltimore is usually ignored/screwed ratings wise.

i found some of the rookie ratings for rounds 1, 2, and 3... the link is at the bottom.

Kindle was the highest rated player in round 2 with a 78 rating. Cody was rated 74 and Ed Dickson 65... a bit lower than I expected.

The top rating for any rookie was 85 for Suh, McCoy, and Berry.

Check out the complete list here:

I really need to get Madden this year. I have '08, and 3 years of manually updating rosters and using "create a player" for new guys gets real old :P.

On a side note, I still have the original "John Madden Football" for SNES from 1992.

I bought Madden every year since '92 and it really reached its peak for me during '04 (Vick on the Cover), '05 (Ray-Ray on the cover) and to a lesser extent 2006. It might be because those were in the middle of my college years but starting with Madden '07 I have played it less and less. Madden '09 I played 1 season with the Ravens and last season in '10 I played maybe ten games tops with the Ravens. The game is just so glitchy and doesn't play very realistic to me. Look at some videos on youtube and you guys will see what I mean.

I wish an NFL equivalent to MLB The Show could be made. That game is amazing and plays like real baseball.

A little bit of boredom here.
All off the Ravens '10 Opponents average a Madden rating of under 80. Seems pretty easy. Of course though it is just what E.A. sports claims and its only June. Pretty interesting though.

Haha! I feel for you man. I'm in exactly the same situation just because I refuse to buy a PS3 or a Xbox 360. This year might be the year I decide to bid on one though.

That's pretty gnarly, you can't deny the individual talent on this team that's for sure. I hate how they always underrate Suggs, a year after basically having a DPOY type year he was an 88, probably go down to like 84 now.
