So basically the teams that missed the draft or did not do well can still be rewarded. I just don't see the point of rewarding the worse teams or teams that missed the draft considering that is the point of the draft, to get a good team and make the playoffs. No divisions gives everyone an equal chance of making the playoffs as oppose to giving the worse teams more of a chance. Isn't that the whole purpose of the draft, to get a good team and make the playoffs. This is your league though and the decisions ultimately are yours. I just don't like the idea of bad teams getting into the playoffs.
Bad teams will still be bad teams. But teams that are just getting unlucky early on, can make transactions and still have a shot at the playoffs.

People who give up on the team will not make the playoffs either way.

Take ER20 (sorry ER). He's 0-3. But I know he's an active owner, with a few transactions and hard work he can still make it easily to the playoffs with divisions. If there weren't divisions, his road to the playoffs would be much tougher.

I've never been a big fan of divisions. But I can understand why. The only reason why I can live with them is because it gives people who had a few tough weeks early on hope.

This is the reason I don't like it is because people in tougher divisions have worse odds of making the playoffs whereas teams in bad divisions have better odds.

For example the 4 of us in the division all had draft picks in the top half of the draft.

But the flaw in having no divisions is, that for it to be fair you can only play either 18 teams, for 17 weeks and no playoffs, 16 teams for 15 weeks 1 or 2 weeks playoffs, or 14 teams for 13 weeks and 3(possibly 4) week play-offs. Last option is to have very few and play everyone twice.

I'll elaborate with an example... Take ER20's league. There are 18 teams, and the playoffs start in week 14. That means every team gets to play 13 other teams, leaving 4 you don't get to play. Right now you have 2 teams that are 0-3 and have made no moves, one is supab the other is Purple Warp's. Now assuming both are inactive and will stay inactive throughout the season, isn't every team who don't get to play them at a disadvantage? What if you're the team that don't get to play either? When you have divisions you dilute the effect of those few teams that either quit, or aren't lucky/good enough to be competetive consistently.

Ok I shot myself in the Foot. I'm such an idiot and am now the laughing stock of ATD's league... I can't believe Garrard is now starting to falter, and of course The Cowboys win when I trade Tony Romo...

All well I can still hope Garrard bounces back I guess....

Didn't want to say anything. Tried to fight for your cause. Garrard is starting to pull a Delhomme, just throwing picks for the sake of picks. Now they signed Edwards (who know is they give this bum a shot). Garrard should be a decent play at home, just don't trust him on the road.

The Cowboys offensive line was beaten up in those two first games and when they started to get healthy, Romo started making plays again.

I'm still the laughing stock of ATD's league but like I said when it was going down, the were numerous reasons to stick by Romo rather than trade him for a player like Garrard.

You're both tied.

In all seriousness though, the Garrard for Romo trade was a head-scratcher.

Does anyone know if Joseph Addai will be playing tomorrow?
Running back Joseph Addai (hamstring) is listed as questionable as well, having missed Friday's practice despite practicing in full on Wednesday and Thursday

Also Moreno has been ruled out for week 4 also

He'll play. Donald Brown however won't. Which leaves Mike Hart as the interesting deep flex play.

F. I got caught up in the Ravens game and forgot to check Andre Johnson's status. He's inactive and I have him in both Yahoo's starting lineup.

Damn those Ravens for diverting my attention.

TO had a monster day, put up 53 points by himself in ER's league.
Yea I told someone here to start him, hopefully he did. I knew this would need to be TOs game. It was either today or never. He lived up to it.

My team in ATD's league is doing awesome, everyone has at least 10 points except for my IDP's and Maclin has 0.

See, this is the tough luck I've been complaining about... 4 weeks played, and 2 weeks I've been matchep up against the top scores, one week atgainst the number 2 top scorer... After this week, teams are averaging 183 points when playing me... It's ridicilously unfortunate... (I'm playing Team Headrush)

Clutch we got a good game going on. I'm still pissed at the Andre Johnson move I missed. My backup plan was to start Brandon Jacobs and hope he gets back into the gameplan. He did w/ 13 fantasy points. *Sigh*

It'll be "The Law Firm" vs. the kicker tonight.

It is indeed.

I'm pissed that Manningham gave me a nice round goose egg though, that during the last minutes of the Chargers game Rivers had 31.64 points then when it finished dropped to 21.64 and that Mike Vick got injured destroying Jackson's points.

ATDs league is the only league I'm doing pretty well in.

Yeah I didn't understand because you had 125+ points. Then this morning I look and I as leading and you only had 115. Didn't understand what happened. Guess Yahoo screwed up with the scoring.

I'm up by 46.84 in in my league but have to watch Chad Henne and Brandon Marshall go against New England's tissue soft secondary.

In ATD's league, I'm in a similar predicament as the guy I'm facing has Brady, Moss and Miami's D. Me, I'm trotting out the living legend Brian Hartline up by 52.3. I can't go 0-4...I just can't.

Everyone's representing from the East. Looks like by the end of tonight the standings'll be: 4-0, 3-1, 3-1, 3-1 or worst case scenario: 4-0, 4-0, 3-1, 2-2. That's one helluva division.

I tried to get Henne. But you have 3 Qbs. Surely you could try trading one to a team that needs a bye week QB for a RB/WR. That's what I was figuring on doing if I got Henne.

Why did you decide to go no TE in that league. Didn't feel like dropping anybody for a 1 week replacement?
