I was expected to be ranked 2nd in ATD league. But because the rankings are based on divisions, I'm 5th because the 1st place team(record wise and rank wise) is in my division. And there is no wild card.

Not sure how I feel about 4 divisions. Never played in one with 4 its always been max 2. So if the top two teams are in one division, the one team gets screwed.

I'm in the same division as you and it's a rediculous division. Records are 3-0, 3-0, 2-1, 2-1 with 3 of the top 4 highest scoring teams.

From what I read in the rules it looks like only the division winners. It's all or nothing in the East.

Actually, 8 teams make the playoffs. Two from each division (division winner and runner-up). As of right now, the division winners are only awarded the higher seeds.

Ahhhh. Much better. Sometimes the rules are hard to dissect. I saw Division winners were awarded top seeds but I didn't see where it said how many teams get in.

I see it now, they sneak it onto the playoff weeks.

I can't believe its Austin Collie who leads the league in Receiving yards followed by Brandon Lloyd. Maybe the world will really end in 2012.

Anybody that has been playing fantasy football for a while has owned Brandon Lloyd at sometime, and got 0 results. I still don't trust the guy.

I removed the QB bonus at 200 yards. I was going to remove the 200 yard bonus and switch all other bonuses to only 3 points, but it severely messed up all the standings (majority of teams had 1 to 2 ties). So instead I opted to just take away the 200 yard QB bonus only (max bonus points to QBs is 10 now). I didn't see any change in standings or win-loss record for any team.

I like this, it gives everyone an equal chance of making the playoffs.

Actually, the way it's set up gives every a better chance of making the playoffs. Everyone seeded by rank means if you're team is bad, you basically have no chance of making it into the post season. Current set up gives even the bad teams a chance to make it into the playoffs, especially in a lackluster division, just like the actual NFL.

Yep. Divisions are better for bad teams. Overall standings are better for good teams. 4 Divisions heavily favor the bad teams.

But ATD, its your league. We play the way you set it. Just leave everything the way it is.

I would probably leave the scoring the way it was with QBs. Once you start a season with scoring its kinda unfair to change it. I did notice a lot of people's points drop, even though the standings are still the same.

I suggest just leaving the league the way it originally was. Don't let yourself get riled up by our league issues. That's what league members do, they **** about settings. In a league with a lot of settings, its expected, you could never please anybody.

But I would change the QB scoring back to its original form.

I have yet to have a waiver wire accepted in either of they Yahoo leagues. Despite putting in 3-4 requests per week. Sucks being near the top, its hard to better your team.

Luckily I picked up "The Law Firm" in both Yahoo leagues before he had a good game on Sunday.

If it makes you feel any better my team is hobbling in. Andre Johnson is dealing with a high Ankle Sprain. MY top back in Moreno is out. Cadillac my second back is on a bye and is losing carries.

I have to roll with Buckhalter & Donald Brown as my starting backs. I was really hoping to pick up Darby. But if Taylor is out , I'll put "The Law Firm" in.

I would also like to clarify if necessary that my own rumblings earlier, was not about the league set-up, but more about the terrible luck I've had to begin the season In atd's league the 2 games I lost, the opponent scored more than 200 points... Tough luck, and annoying, but I like the league settings, though

So basically the teams that missed the draft or did not do well can still be rewarded. I just don't see the point of rewarding the worse teams or teams that missed the draft considering that is the point of the draft, to get a good team and make the playoffs. No divisions gives everyone an equal chance of making the playoffs as oppose to giving the worse teams more of a chance. Isn't that the whole purpose of the draft, to get a good team and make the playoffs. This is your league though and the decisions ultimately are yours. I just don't like the idea of bad teams getting into the playoffs.
