I don't like the term "on paper" because what does it really mean when you take the field? I think the better way of saying it is that our offense will be better than theirs on the field next season, and probably for some years to come.

QB thats easy. Sanchez can't even see Flacco

HB...still easy, As it has already been said The three headed monster is one of the best in the league.

TE... Who do they got???? Dosen't matter lol HEAP!!!!

WR... Uh wow, thats tuff. Thankfully Santonio dosen't factor in for the first game, cuz I think that might give the Jets a push. Aside from him I think we have it

OL... Oher, Grubbs, Birk, Yanda, and Gaither, that is a mean young line. Reminds me of the one Manning came up with. Yeah the Jets can't compete with that.

Dustin Keller is a quality receiving TE. Heap is a better blocker but isn't the receiving threat Keller is at this point in their careers.

And your final statement is laughable. Even with the loss of Faneca, the Jets still have arguably the top o-line in the league.

Quality huh, how many of Sanchez's hanful of TD's went to him. Even if it was in the majority still dosen't compare to Heap, Dickson, or Pitta, and maybe you would like the line better if I dropped Gaither for Cousins. Take it easy Mr. Serious post guy. Just my opinion.

You're entitled to your opinions. But if I disagree, I'll voice why.

Keller only had 2 TDs during the regular season last year but he caught a TD in all three of NY's play-off games. I never said I'd take him over Heap and the rookies but it isn't like he's a nobody either.

As for the o-lines, your sarcasm is unnecessary. Everyone knows the Jets have one of the best o-lines in football. I just don't see how you can say the Jets can't compete when they so much talent along the line.

And dude, giving me a "negative" doesn't make what I say any less valid.

wasnt a bad idea to compare our d in another thread, seeing haw similar they are and how highly rated they both are expected to be. but why compare our offenses? we are both run first teams with young QBs but the list stops there. the ravens by far have the better offense (on paper)

I wonder the same thing. At least on defense, we can have an interesting discussion.

i don´t whant to be a homer but why do they miss santonio in this game? did i miss something?

i am not sure who has the better offense. like someone said it´s all about how we handle the game against their defense.
i honestly believe that we can handle their defense better than they will do with ours. that said it will be a great game for both sides. there will be a lot of emotions and boths sides sure whanna do everything for winning that one.

the key will be to stop their running game. if we stop them on running plays we have a great chance to win this one. if we put pressure on them so that they have to throw it they will have a lot of problems with mr. interception sanchez.

i just whanted to add: i don´t hate the jets!!! i like playing teams who are a little similar to us like them, the steelers or the bengals. this is what it´s all about in my eyes: beat the teams that are the most similar to yourself...

I can't believe this thread even exists. The Ravens have a significantly better offense than the Jets, especially with two of their offensive stars will be riding the bench week 1.

People need to stop playing in to the whole "WEEK 1 RAVENS JETS IT'S GONNA BE A KILLER!!!". It isn't. The Ravens will mop the field with the Jets and embarrass them in their new stadium. Comparing the Ravens offense to the Jets offense is like comparing a Mercedes to a Hyundai.

I think the Jets offense will struggle out of the gate this season because they were a run first team last year and in the offseason they tore it all apart. They released Alan Faneca, and traded/released their top 2 backs in Thomas Jones and Washington(i think. his name escape me). They are betting a lot on their 3rd rounder from last year to pick up quite a bit of slack. He played well in the postseason last year but Ray Rice/Willis McGahee he isn't.

Add that to the fact that Santonio Holmes will be suspended when we play them week 1 and Braylon Edwards couldn't catch a cold and I'm not nervous about their offense scoring. I'd be more afraid of their defense getting a score or two.
