Idea: T.O. to Baltimore?

97 posts in this topic

Personally, I don't want T.O. to play for us for several reasons. One, his attitude. Two, his age. Three, he'll want more than a slot role/number 2 role. I was just saying that we shouldn't be tearing apart this thread just because we don't have the same opinion he does. There were also others who were trying to say they weren't interested in this thread and that we should delete it. May I ask why there were so many posts in here if this was the case?? Also, why don't these certain people who are complaining about this thread go along their own ways and not even stop by here to 'waste their time'???? I just don't get it.

Our point is his point is moot. How many more WR's do we need? Talk about giving us some depth at DB and Ill be happy.
Last season we were all up in arms when it wasn't certain wether or not D-Mase would be back.... Well he is, not to mention the addition of Q and Stallworth. We picked up a WR in the draft and the rest of our WR/ST's are healthy....

What more do you want - Oh, T.O.

If we are to continue conversing this topic, lets get serious then....

How will we manage to fit T.O into the roster? Who would you cut to allow for T.O?

We have a team built around good character... T.O is not in keeping with this tradition.

Ive already given my opinion about T.O. and to reiterate I dont want him here and the reasons are obvious.
To answer your question about how many more recievers do we need? You can never be complete in tweeking the roster. I think you could remove the name Owens and replace it with any other you choose. The point is whatever it takes to improve the recieving corp keeping in mind all the effects it will have on the team. Money, character, production, leadership, etc... I dont think you can ever say you are satisfied with what you have. The goal is to continue to get better.
Like others have said, if you are tired of hearing about a specific topic, just ignore it. No need to attack a fellow fan. Im not saying that you were the one attacking, that was just a generalized statement.

thanks berad... and this thread isnt about anyone thinking we should go get TO. its just an open debate as to whether or not he could help the ravens. i enjoy a good debate, and trying to sell the idea that TO would help is almost impossible in any market.

its the challenge of changing opinion that is intriguing! especially when youre persuing a career in law, stuff like that is fun and good mental exercise as ill be trying to convince groups of people of some not-so-popular opinions.

anywho, glad its settled.... fans shouldnt quarrel with other fans. our class is what makes our organization so much better than others (steelers, cowboys, eagles, patriots) to name a few. management and the players uphold this level of class and so should we.

I like good debate too, but personally could care less if I change someone else's opinion. If you agree with me, then I'll just find something else to argue about, until I find a reason to change my mind on what you agreed with me on, lol..
But a sports forum isn't really a place for an actual debate....There are other places for that.

The thread and some of the posts were out of line, I deleted the ones that were inappropriate and, in some cases, the responses to them.
