Folks:
Here is another poll for you. Here is the kicker. We all know that Ray Rice has had a phenomenal sophomore year in the NFL. Now he enters his 3rd year and is getting better. However, Joe Flacco's options have increased by a mile. He has great go to receivers and tight ends to throw to. Considering this, my guess would be Ray Rice's numbers are going to suffer a bit. But where would he end up in total all purpose yards? Here you go make your best guess. Mine is 1600-1699 total yards.

I accidentally voted in the less than 1200 range but I thought that was just rushing yards. I can see him ending up with around 1150 rushing and 400 receiving for around 1550 yards.

I say 1,500 plus. We don't play a lot of scary defenses this year. I also hope he'll see more goal line carries to increase his TD total. But either way, he's always a threat to score, and he has a nose for the end zone. I say 1,500 plus because of the plethora of talent we have at WR's this year. If we didn't get the guys we have now, his work could have been worth to close to under 2,000 yards, because Flacco loves to look for him on a curl or in the flat. He's a lock to pass 1,000. That's for sure.

okay guys, you do realize that we're still going to run the ball on ocassion right?? lol

I think his recieving numbers are going to go down quite a bit, to the 400-500 range, now that we have recievers who actually get open and Flacco wont have to dump it off as much, but Ray Ray should still be getting his 15-20 carries a game too.

Well last year he got 2041 all purpose yards on 332 touches. The Ravens said he was going to get less touches next year, and we will mix Willis in the mix more. If we are going by the same ratio of touches to yards that he got last year and multiply that by say 275 touches. He is going to get just under 1700 yards. Its key that we keep him fresh for the playoffs. I wouldn't mind if he, Willis, and McClain took carries so not only does he last all year, but he is healthier throughout his career.

I can't come up with an actual number but I see Rice seemingly having an unspectacular year statistically but racking up many big plays. I see his YPC and receiving average increasing from last year.

900 rushing, 700 recieving. I think Cam is going to open up this offense and keep Rice's legs fresh for playoffs splitting carries with Willis. Just dont see a lot of touches for Ray with the passing attack we have now.

This is why my guesstimate was so low, we have a lot more weapons this year which will equal less touches for Rice, mainly in the receiving category. I will be surprised if he ends up with more than 500 receiving yards.

I don't like to worry about stats especially with the depth we have on offense now. In fact, the only one who really should be playing to improving their stats on offense is Flacco and that's because he is QB and we want him to throw as many TDs and less INTs as possible. We have LeRon (who wants more carries), McGahee, and of course Ray Rice. Going to be hard for him to have a statistically great season again especially with the weapons we have. He isn't our only threat anymore so we don't have to depend on him as much.

Pierre Thomas had only 793 yards but he was a big contributor to the Saints.

Marques Colston had only 70 receptions and was in the low 1,000 yard mark but he was a big contributor to the Saints.

Larry Fitzgerald had 97 receptions for 13 TDs but no Superbowl run this year.

Andre Johnson had over 1,500 receiving yards and over 100 receptions but no playoffs.

The point I'm trying to make is that we don't play for stats. That's selfish. We play for wins and that's it. As long as everyone gives their all, it might not necessarily show up on stats, but it doesn't necessarily mean they didn't contribute heavily.

I don't buy that you sit a weapon that produced 2,000+ APY last year. I don't think they need to spread his share of the pie around to Bolden or Stallworth. I think they're just going to have a bigger pie to accommodate all of them.

More yards + more points = 2010. I think Ray still gets around 2,000 all-purpose yards.
