They did? Ahead of MJD? I would put Ray ahead of Turner, but I just wanted to see what everyone else's opinions were. I guess you can't really fight the idea of Ray being ahead of MJD because of all the weapons we got. I wonder what they think though? Would you guys pick Ray Rice ahead of him if you had the number three pick?

I personally wouldn't, just because of all the "weapons" we now have. This team is going to be showing off their passing game, which will take carries away from Ray. I'm taking MJD if I have a chance, I mean, do you know anyone else who even knows what the endzone looks like in Jacksonville?

The pass game will actually benefit Ray Ray in my opinion. I mean, defenses stacked the box last year, and Rice still picked up huge yards. Now, defenses have to account for the slot, something we've never had, the outside with Stallworth and Mason, plus Heap and our fresh TE's. That only benefits Rice in a huge way. I'm still worried about his goal line carries though. Just give him the damn ball instead of Willis or McClain lol. Plus he should be huge in the pass game because LB's can't keep up with him in the flats.

Funny because FF heads have him ahead of MJD sometimes. I wonder why? I'm not doubting Ray, but MJD gets a whole lot more goal-lines.

NFL.com also has Kevin Kolb ahead of Flacco... *dies a little inside*

I'd have to go:
1. Chris Johnson
2. Adrian Peterson
3. Ray Rice
4. Maurice Jones-Drew
5. Drew Brees
6. Aaron Rodgers
7. Michael Turner
8. Peyton Manning
9. Andre Johnson
10. Frank Gore

1. Chris Johnson
2. AP

Both of these guys are well situated now. Chester Taylor and Lendale White are both gone. These guys are at the top and should score a lot of TDs.

The third position is up for grabs. Somedays I like MJD other Ray Rice. I like Ray Rice. Joe Flacco will still dump off a lot of balls to him.

3. Ray Rice
4. MJD
5. Andre Johnson (Andre is in line to have an off the chart year. Houston has been investing in their lines. In Andre I trust this year.)

6. Micheal Turner
7. Frank Gore (I wish San Fran would realize how big of a stud Gore is and actually use him properly.) Enough with forcing the passing game.
8. Drew Brees - He'll at least get you a TD a game.
9. DeAngelo Williams - Proved me wrong last year.
10. Rashard Mendenhall, Peyton Manning or Cedric Benson

I wouldn't touch Stephen Jackson with a ten foot pole this year. They have no other option other than him, behind no offensive line. Always playing from behind. It's going to be tough for Stephen Jackson to find the end zone this year.

Both Moss and Fitzgerald have to prove me wrong also this year. Fitzgerald without Boldin and Warner is too big of a production question mark for me. Rashard Mendenhall is going to sneak up on people this year. With Rothlisberger out, Mendenhall could find his niche, especially since Parker is gone.

I'm afraid of what CJ is doing Tennessee. He's holding out, and Coach Fisher even stated last month that it's impossible to think Johnson can handle that work load year in and year out. Trust me, if I'm sitting at number one in some of my leagues, I'm taking him, but I just hope he beats out AP because if he gets hurt, I'll be forever kicking myself.

To be honest, I think AP is the safest best at number one. The boy just has immense talent and will find the end zone no matter where he is on the field. So many variables this year for number one, so I just pray I get stuck with number two because it will make my life so much easier lol.

I'm absolutely in love with Andre Johnson this year. Give me anything but the 1, 2 and 3rd pick and he's mine. I'm kind of confused though because I also want Calvin Johnson, and luckily for me, both have the same bye weeks (7). I think both will finish in the top five this year for WR's, if not top 3. I always used to go Brees in the first, and trust me, I loved it, but the QB pool is so deep this year, so I'm looking to find a stud in the bottom end of the draft.

I get to keep Ray Rice for my ESPN league next year, so as any of you would imagine, I'm pretty stoked. With a first round pick in Ray, I will have two first rounders with my other pick, maybe even three, depending on how my draft goes.

I'm not that high on DeAngelo Williams this year. I think Stewart will eventually take over, but time will tell. Not too high on Moss or Larry either. I think Boldin's number will be insane this year, though.

The only mark against Fitz this year is the quarterback situation. Unless Leinhart has made significant strides in his attitude, work ethic, and ability, there isn't much behind the Card's passing attack this year (because everyone know Derek Anderson isn't the answer). If Leinart is the same old Leinhart, then the Cards will probably end up running the ball much more often than they have in years past. I'm not saying they'll be a run-first team, they'll just increase the workload of Wells and Hightower more. If that is the situation Arizona faces, then Fitz's output will decrease, but by no fault of his own. He'll still put up good numbers, just not what everyone expects from him.

Moss is Moss though. I wouldn't be too worried about taking him, even though it looks as if he's on his way out of New England. He's going to want to prove to teams that may be interested in him next season that he can still produce for his age.

I wouldn't be surprised if we signed Moss next year, honestly...

I like Fitzgerald as a player, so I wish him the best, and whoever hs QB may be, will hopefully get on the same page as Fitzgerald and Warner did. I say this because if I pick him up, I hope he produces lol.

With Boldin now on board, I don't think we'll give Moss a look. Well, maybe he'll get a look, but nothing serious from us. I could only see us making an offer if Mason retires.

I love Mason, but if he retires, Moss isn't such a bad consolation prize. Could you imagine Boldin next to Moss? I don't care how old he is. But anyway, back to FF lol.

Calvin Johnson or Ryan Mathews?
I'd go with Mathews. Johnson's upside is limitless but Mathews is in a better situation.

That's how I feel. It would be tempting to pick up Calvin at the end of the second, but I can't help but think of his awful offensive line and his injury history. He could either be a close second behind Andre Johnson this year or fall to the teens. I seemingly fail to pick a number one WR for some of my leagues, and it'll show. That's why I want Calvin so bad.

Will Mathews be involved in the pass game? Living so close to Fresno State, I've never actually seen the kid play. I've heard he's a downhill runner though, so his goal lines should get me a lot of TD's. I've even heard he's slated for 300+ carries this year.

Yep. There are just too many issues to factor in with Calvin for my taste.

Mathews reportedly has good hands and should catch some passes but the Pocket Rocket will probably catch more balls. He'll definitely get 300+ carries barring serious fumbling problems or injury.

I'm not too worried about Sproles. He'll get a lot of passes out of the backfield, but he won't be a vulture. If I do pick up Mathews, I'm hoping for some LT numbers. It seems as if any back can thrive in that system, so we'll see.

I still want Calvin though haha. Hard decision.

I see Mathews having a similar season to Matt Forte's rookie campaign.

Wow, if that's the case, Mathews will be mine. He's going in the third in a lot of mock's I'm doing. Hopefully it'll stay that way come draft day in my ESPN league. The third round is stocked with a plethora of talent.

Edit - In a 10 team league.

How do you feel about Michael Crabtree this year? Enough talent to be a number one WR?

Mathews in round 3 of a 10-team would be pretty good.

Crabtree definitely has the talent to be a #1 WR. What he did last season without playing in training camp and missing a good amount of games is proof he's a quality player.

I'm not sure yet if I would be content with him as my number one. This year, I'm trying to stock up on as much RB talent as possible, which makes it difficult to take a true, number one WR in the earlier portion of the draft. I can't wait for FF lol.

Neither can I.

I love the pressure of the draft and the never-ending question of upside or proven production.

Or waking up every Sunday morning, turning the television on then looking for the players on your FF team to see how they are doing. Losing is inevitable, but it just sucks so bad, especially when you're playing your close buddies.

Hey bro, my league might actually need one or two more. We are in an ESPN league, and we draft on July 30th. Let me know if you're interested. It's me and a few good friends of mine. If you're interested, I'll send you all of the information. It's a money league though. So just let me know.

Agreed. Even between Ravens games, I'm checking the ticker trying to calculate the scores in my head.

Sorry man, I'm not a money league guy. Love fantasy but not enough to spend money on it.
