1600lb on a 45 degree incline, I remember feeling like the metal plate under the padding was touching the skin on my back.

Elite powerlifters with 36 inch thighs are known to put up over 2000lb for reps.

Those guys with the 2,000 have to be using 100 lb plates then, or have a press I haven't seen. I just always ran out of plates/room for plates.

I just started getting serious about lifting for the past 7 months. I don't have a spotter which sucks until I go back to college. I haven't maxed out in awhile but I've gained 10 pounds of muscle and lost about 5 or 10 pounds of fat since started lifted. And I still have a lot of muscle to gain back in my legs since I blew out my knee, but I'm never gonna do a lot of heavy lifting in my legs again. Just high rep stuff.

My favorite music to listen to is Lupe, Wayne, Red Hot Chili Peppers, foo fighters, Brand New, Kanye, Audioslave. I like more upbeat music but not too intense all the time. I know some laid back songs sometimes because lifting is supposed to be intense but relaxing and fun. So I can only take so much intense music for so long.
