Alright you weight room junkies what do your numbers look like?

Im 15 and a sophmore. Im in a class called life fitness which is weight lifting and its really helping me.

Im 5'10" and only 145.

My bench is easily my strongest area it has gone up since starting the russian bench cycle in january by 25 pounds from 170 to 195. Almost got 200 today i was pissed i couldnt finish it.

I only squat maybe 260 i havent maxed out in a while though and I only clean maybe 155.

I think I focus a little too much on upper body but whatevaaaaa...what do your weightroom stats look like?

6' 215

All my 1 rep Maxes

Bench: 305
Curl: 140
Deadlift 335 (I suck)
Squats, I do not do Squats, I do Lunges and Plyometric leg exercises
Pullups without stopping and going all the way down: 17
My last timed 2 mile run was 14:48

I am in the military as well. Played RB, and WR in High School, Pitched in the Spring. I should have stuck with Football instead of joining the military. I wanted to goto Alabama and redshirt.

Is that a full squat? If so, 260 is pretty decent. The reason I ask is most guys do half squats in which they don't even get their thighs below parallel or even to parallel for that matter.

FWIW, don't get sucked into the press gang. Squats will help you more overall than any form of press. Deadlifts would be the number 2 form of exercise I would become familiar with. Too many guys focus upon their bench press numbers which overall are limited in overall growth.
And please, please, please don't join the curl gang either. lol

Any1 here ever done the bicep train? One hell of a workout. It kicked my butt today but it makes my arms look extra big haha.

You line up Dumbbells from 45s down like maybe 45s, 40s, 35s, 25s, 15s and you do hammer curls for the first 3 DBs, then on the two lighter ones you do regular curls. Ten a piece for the hammer curls and 20 for the regular curls.....Its one heck of a workout

I don't know much of what my max weights were in my prime because we hardly went for max, but we'd do bench press pyramids, with minimal rest between the sets, as follows:

10x185 warm-up

10x225
8x275
6x295
4x315
2X365
4x315
6x295
8x275
Reps x 225

I don't remember ever completing the whole pyramid and we did this once every two weeks (every 4th chest workout).

I did this when I was getting out of the military and needed to put on some of the muscle I lost when I went in. I was 225 before I went in, and spent most of my military time at 195-200. I jumped back up to 215-230 (depending on the time of year) during this workout period.

Best attempted squat: 455lbs (too scared to put on anymore)
Best attempted bench: 365lbs
Best mile: 5:05
Best 2 mile: 11:32 (waaaay slower second mile... /sigh)
Best real 40: 4.78
Most dips: 36
Most Pull-ups: an embarrassingly low 12 (even in the army)

This all did not happen at the same time. Different training, different results, different periods of time. Right now I can barely bench press myself out of bed, pull-up my pants, and waddle the 40 yards down to the mailbox.

I got 205 on bench yesterday

Excellent. At 15 and 145lbs, that's quite strong. Keep up your core training (hips, abs, lower back, legs) and you're going to be a force.

Now I have a fever for the flavor of knowing all the different kinds of leg press machines people are using... I only ever did 1400 on the angled leg press machine I used because we'd be running out of room on the bars (4) or plates near our rig. Are people talking about verticle leg press machines? Angled leg press? Universal machine leg press?

The difference is vertical, 45 degrees and horizontal. Suffice it to say, there's a big difference in the real weight pressed.

Heck ya, I actually prefer doing lower body.

I haven't leg pressed in a while but I'm no match for the big BloodRaven here, probably around 1200.

1600lb on a 45 degree incline, I remember feeling like the metal plate under the padding was touching the skin on my back.

Elite powerlifters with 36 inch thighs are known to put up over 2000lb for reps.
