I voted other. Skip Bayliss is easily to me the worst NFL commentator. He has no idea what he is ever talking about.

And if this asked for college, i would say Lou Holtz. He always picks the underdog.

I love Shannon Sharpe but I had to vote for him. I can't understand half of what he says. I think he has marbles in his mouth or something. I hope Billick gets Sharpe's job.

Collinsworth runs hot and cold with me. I've seen him be the only one in the booth with anything positive to say about the Ravens but just as I'm thinking maybe he's not an idiot, he goes and proves me wrong.

Bryant Gumbel...that was torture to listen to on Thursday Night Football, when I still had the NFL Network.

He's just sooooo...BORING. Not only that, but he doesn't do anything more, commentary-wise, than anyone else could do if they were articulate. Chris Collinsworth carries those broadcasts SO MUCH, that it's no wonder some people might bash Collinsworth. YOU'D get worn out too, if you had to carry a game for almost three hours practically on your own.

my vote goes for anyone who says one thing about a player or team (like the ravens) in a negative way/fashion....one year or one week, only to have them turn around and say something completely different the next...when they see us doing well....which i think can go for ALL commentators

I will say this - NONE of the NFL commentators are as bad as Lou Holtz. Holy mother of whatever deity you choose, that man is enough to push someone to homicide. Very nearly ruined the NCAA season, you know, more than it already was.

I agree with the Skip Bayless vote. And that is where my vote would go.

The chump is a total idiot and is always mad at the world for whatever reason. I never knew his name all these years until they happened to flash it on the screen while he was makin' an a$$ of himself a few days ago.

I usually avoid any channel he may be spewing his worthless comments on.

Actually, I could say that about most of the selections on this poll but Skippy takes the cake for being the absolute worst.

As for the NFL games, Dan Dierdork, Cornhoser and Collingsworthless are among the worst.

As for Joe Theisman, I kind of like him. So I wouldn't even have him on this list.

This is funny, because I hate the Redskins, and for the names I knocked, I rooted for the old St. Louis Cardinals and the 80's Cincinnati Bengals. So, go figure.
