Seating Question

8 posts in this topic

Hey guys I'm going to go to my first Ravens game and I am on stubhub and just wanted to know which are the best seats in the house.... On the stubhub site there are seats that are in the 150-200 price range and I just wanted to know which were better seats. An endzone seat row 6-17 or an upper sideline seat? I think they are both the same price or very similar.

Please check the "Questions" forum. There are several threads there related to this issue. You can also follow the links on BaltimoreRavens.com to find seating charts, etc.

Upperdeck midfield / sideline are the better seats by a mile. Depending on the game they will run you 175 - 200 bucks which is pricey. I've used stubhub a few times for ravens tickets and have never had a problem. However, this year I'm trying a differnt website called optionit.com. there's a link to it in the gameday section on this website. It looks to be alot cheaper then stubhub. basically you get face value tickets for about a $20.00 fee (option) per ticket.

check it out. Like i said, I've never used this site before so i can't guarantee it is as good as it sounds but if it works out you will be saving close to $100.00 per ticket.

I was third row endzone for the Sunday night Steelers game last year and it was awesome! Players warming up up within ear-shot. Touchdowns right in front of our face. Krugers interception coming right at us. Game-winning FG at seemingly arms length.

It just depends on whats important to you, seeing EVERYTHING as it happens (which is why there are jumbo-trons) or being close to the action when its near your endzone.

I have endzone seats in the lower bowl and love them and feel they are the best seats in the house. Yes you need the score board for down and distance after mid field because you lose depth perception and running plays in the other endzone are difficult to see BUT the awesome scoreboard video more then make up for that.
BUT the ability to see the plays develop and the line play more then make up for that.

To each his own. I agree it is definitly personal perference. I prefer sideline because i like to see the whole play devolop and see the whole picture that sitting at home doesn't let you see. But i can definantly see why people would prefer endzone too.

Either way, no matter what section you choose i guarantee you a rocking time. I have been to several NFL venues and non compare to the atmosphere at M & T Bank (epecially when we are on defense).

You can't go wrong.

Good luck

I have low numbered upper sidelines and club sidelines, and have sat with friends in lower deck seats throughout the stadium. For me, watching the overall game action is more important than being closer to the players. I get confused when too close to the action, winding up focusing on just whoever has the ball instead of seeing the entire field of play. My upper deck seats are even better than the club seats (although the clubs provide cold weather protection).

Therefore, if your criteria are similar to mine, I would recommend upper sidelines if they are not too far up -- you should cut off at around row 10.
