Can't quite agree with you on the 2007 offensive line. That year, Brian Billick had that O line playing out of position with Grubbs at RG, Jason Brown at LG, Yanda at RT and I believe JO was in and out if the lineup. That Cory Ross had any kind of success behind that out of tilter line is a miracle. Ross was a good short downhill runner and a crowd pleaser, however, he had stones for hands and was no threat to throw the big block. I loved watching Ross on the field but he was a luxury, a role taken up by Willis McGahee. Gotta agree with you on the Pittman comment. It's laughable how some people use one game, one play or one performance against one opponent to define a player's ability.

You mean as many posters, including yourself, are doing with Cory Ross? Because the only game he ever touched the ball as a running back was versus Pittsburgh (Proof). I, for one, thought he performed well in that game, but that's only one game. He obviously did not play well enough to ensure himself a roster spot the next season, the Ravens drafted Ray Rice that April. They made the right call.

 Have any proof to back up these claims?

I'm sure Chris McAlister has plenty of friends on the team. David Pittman was cut because he was an underachiever and never grasped the NFL game. His only productive game, along with Cory Ross, was against Pittsburgh.

Ray Rice or Cory Ross is, essentialy, what this equates down to.

So, who would you rather have, Ray Rice: second only to CJ2K in total yards from scrimmage outside of Quarterbacks last season. Or, Cory Ross the UFL's leading rusher that, apparently, still isn't good enough for NFL teams to consider?

There really is no contest.

If Cory Ross were as talented as some think then he'd be on a Runningback-needy NFL team right about now attempting to earn a roster spot.
