Giants Stadium

I drove through the p-lot this afternoon on my way to work. The entire north side of the stadium if GONE.

Then I saw that there are images and videos (can't post videos from here):

Went to my first FB game in that old place (Browns @ Giants) back in the 80's.
Took Dad to a few games as well, including in 1998 against the undefeated Bronco's.
Saw a few concerts there too.

Yea, it looks pretty cool too.
During Jets games int he old stadium, they used to have to cover all of the blue and Giants references with green cloth and Jets labeled stuff. From what I can tell, the theme in the new one will be either green or blue lights everywhere. It actually looks pretty neat.
I was going to take the little guy to the Giants/Steelers preseason game, but we can go to 6 flags every day for a week for the same price. lol

That new stadium is gorgeous... too bad it's going to be christened with a loss (for the Jets at least)

Agreed! It could be 2 losses if the Panthers upset the Giants on Sunday. Can't wait for the regular season to begin. OT, that stadium looks great, I wouldn't be surprised to see that stadium get the vote to host the Super Bowl in 2014 later this month.
