Yamon was the rookie of the year imo while I think Antwan Barnes has the most potential. He's got the ability and attitude.

Its about a ty between Yamon (for the impact he made after BJ went down), Grubbs (for the solid work he did as a rookie on the O-line), and McClain (for the great job he did paving the way for Willis's great season).

For potential I would say the Barnes has loads with the speed and insticts he has (he could be like AD, a late round jem) and so does Yamon and Smith if they are developed proberly with coaching to get their mechanics down.

I know that Grubbs is solid, but is he pro bowl material? Seriously, I dont think moving Grubbs from LG to RG was a good idea. we shouldve just drafted an RG instead. just imo though

i think Ben Grubbs did really well considering he was a rookie and was put into action. he performed up to expectations as a rookie and beyond.

Troy Smith shows the most potential because of his raw talent and mobility as a quarterback. Something we haven't had in a while. So, i can't wait 'till next year so we maybe can see Troy in the action considering if he starts next year or not.

i personally feel as though ANY of the younger athletes on this team right now, have the potential to become "pro bowl" calibur players.....all it takes is a matter of hard work, dedication, time, willingness to learn from past mistakes and continue to build upon what you have......and in which im saying ANY player can make it and be considered as a "pro bowl" type player.

I hope youre right. I think barnes sticks a bit out, I love his pass rushing skills. I hope he has an increased role next season.

Mr rookie of the year was Ben Grubbs by far. Yamon Figurs played well but he commited some costly fumbles and didn't do much in the receiving game. Grubbs blocked well the majority of the year and paired up well with Jason Brown.

The player who I think has the most potential is Jared Gaither. Physically, he is already more mature than the guy he was brought in to replace, Jonathan Ogden. However, he probably has some issues with footwork etc. The only reason I want J.O. to return next year is so he can help Gaither on with his development and make him a better player.

Its not about making the pro bowl. Its about winning games. As long as he can provide solid running blocking and keep the QB up right, I am fine with him. I think in time he will become one of our better lineman. So what if he doesnt go to the pro bowl, that just means he cant demand a whole bunch of money when its time to resign.

Yamon was obviously our rookie of the year, and Troy has the most potential.

I dont think its that obvious. McClain, although I dont think he was on there, had a really good year to. Thats evident because McGahee had a really good year.

I voted Grubbs for rookie of the year. The only other rookie I'd give that title to would be Le'Ron McLain. Grubbs fought in the trenches admirably from start to finish but La'Ron paved the way for McGahee all yea rlong, throing solid blocks and having some signs of offensive capability

As for potential I gotta say I'd like to see Troy play because I think he could turn into something special if Cam Cameron is the quarterback groomer he's supposed to be. TS has the talent but he needs the tutelage.

Troy has shown great potential already and has demonstrated his leadership ability as well as Poise and all the above in his previous game experience this past season (the last few weeks at least) and therefore show that he has continued to improve upon what he's learned and will continue to learn as such and become the best possible Football player he can possibly become for his team to help them out in the long and short run of things........and with him being the in only his 2nd year coming into the 2008 nfl season.....he has the capacity and the athletism to adjust accordingly to their game plan and what plays/audibles are being run.

Barnes + Smith

Figurs looked terrible at WR. He made some good plays on special teams but he also made a lot of mistakes (fumbles etc). Grubbs has been solid i guess, he didn't exactly WOW me.

ROY....Grubbs-people need to stop underestimating the role of an OL!

most potential....smith-though we don't really know if he is the starter next year, he will be the franchise QB of the future!

I find it hard to give it to an O-lineman because the O-line played so poor.
