Our Injury Future

Obviously this is all based on assumptions.

The Ravens have a stellar offence (for once) this season. Last season Rice made fools of more than a few teams. With our WR corps. Rice wil not only be carrying a lighter load, but will have bigger runs with the field being much more stretched out.

Simply put the Ravens are on the "offence to watch" list.
I was wondering how dirty the things could get.
Would some one intentionally take out Flacco or Rice just to take out two of the most significant links in our offence?
Are there players in the NFL that dirty that a player would actually try to physically hurt a player enough to take them out of the game?

I don't think its an issue. There are dirty guys in the NFL and there are times when a player may play a little passed the whistle but players aren't going to go out of their way to hurt other players.

I haven't seen anyone try to intentionally hurt Brady, All Day, Chris Johnson, Andre Johnson, Fitzgerald and all other other elite talents in the league and I don't see it happening to players on this team.

Most NFL players respect one another and would never intentionally injure one of their peers. They are all in the same business and all have mouths to feed. There might be a few stray players who legitimately have no regard for their opponent, but those are the ones whose careers don't last long or who don't make many friends in the league.

Now, if you asked a player if he wouldn't mind seeing an star player on the opposing team sit out a game, that's a different story. But there'd be very few who would ever truly want to harm another player for the purpose of winning a game. These are, after all, grown men playing a child's game and being paid handsomely for it.
