I've very glad to hear his system was clean. At the very least, it eliminates one plausible scenario of what could have happened.

Now its just a matter of whether there was any sort of sexual contact.

I'm hoping your theory pans out. I hate to see boyhood idols crumble like this; I want to keep my memories and opinions of LT as they were.

If you watched on ESPN yesterday, they showed the attorney for LT arguing for him to be released on his own recognizance (when they were setting bail) and he was very adamant about these charges being absurd and that he's more than likely going to plead out and get no jail-time. If she lied about her age, what is LT supposed to do? Even if he asked for ID, she probably doesn't have any, and if she does, it's more than likely fake. What a mess.

I wonder what the legal deal is for that scenario? Having mutual sex with a minor who said she was older than she really was...

Reading this scenario he didn't rape anyone. The 3rd degree of rape states having intercourse with either a mentally retarded person or a minor.

I think he will get off on the rape charge but not on the soliciting a prostitution charge.

I'm sorry as bad as it is that a 50 something year old man is going after a young teenage prostitute, the 16 year old girl still needs to be accountable. At 16 you are pretty much an adult. You are responsible enough to drive a car and get a job, and you should know what you wanna do or not do with your body.

So hopefully LT gets off on the rape charge and is only charged with soliciting prostitution.

For me personally because he ended my favorite non-Raven QB's career and I was a Redskins fan lol. I got some perspective on it reading [i]the Blindside[/i], and re-seeing the hit in the movie. I working when it happened, so I did not see it really broken down until recently.
To me this smells of set up and money grab, though I don't think LT is overly rich.
