Yea, it isn't the same without the license but you can create NFL teams. Which, to me, makes it more fun to create all the teams because of the customization features. And yes I bought it and it is fun. I kinda find it too easy though, but the controls are different and it will take time to learn them.

As much as I look football games... the fact there's no NFL license kills it for me. 95% of the fun of Madden is playing against guys you watch every Sunday and shaming pro-bowlers.

picked this up at target tonight for 5 bucks so I guess it was worth it will play it later

They also have a Backbreaker game for the android (and probably iphone) it's worth the 99 cents I paid for. Kills time easily.

this game in my opinion is horrid.the camera view alone is awful.Granted you take comtrol of one person and its like a first person type game but I just couldn't get used to it.Played one game maybe I will try another before I swing by gamestop.Wonder if Ill get more then 5 bucks for it lol

I played this game once and it was boring. Blitz The League is 100x better and has an awesome story mode.

The camera was one of my main issues with the demo, along with it's boring gameplay. The animations are it's only redeeming factor, and I need more than stellar animations to think a game's worth it. Huge let down, thankfully Madden is out to satisfy my football game needs.
