Any Fans Of The Indy Colts In Baltimore?

Hello everyone.
i am quite new at this forum stuff and yes i AM a ravens fan but i was just wondering if there were any colts fans still in baltimore? I am not from baltimore or maryland for that matter im from illinois and as a newfound ravens fan i am just curious. thanks for any responses

Why would I root for Indianapolis' team? Never even been there. Ravens/Orioles all the way. Now if we can just get rid of Angelos. Does Ray Ray have a good breaking ball?

I hate the Colts, and its not because of the stealing of a franchise from a city (I don't live in Baltimore) or because Peyton is the one of the greatest players ever (I actually like Peyton to a degree), but because their defense, which is average against 30 other teams in the league has our team's number every time they play.

Speaking of "stealing" franchises, how is it that Indianapolis can do so with relatively little disturbance form the NFL world outside of Baltimore, but when Art Modell leaves Cleveland, it's a travesty that will most likely continue to keep the man out of the H-O-F. Hypocrisy is hilarious...

You reference the 'Indy Colts' and then ask if there are still any Colts fans in Baltimore.

The Indianapolis Colts and the Baltimore Colts are 2 completely different teams. so much so that the Baltimore colts players do not even want to be associated with the Indianapolis team.

No, nobody in that is a Ravens fan likes the Indianapolis team.

Those that like the Indy team because they were once Baltimore Colts fans are some of the biggest football **** I have ever met.

what is there to be confused about everybody else understood it. i simply asked if there were any fans of the indy colts in baltimore. i understand that baltimore still loves the old colts which they should but did anyone stay fans when they moved? and did they stay fans when the ravens came to town? i am curious because i know a few people in indianapolis that wear BALTIMORE colts stuff and celebrate the heritage of the team. now as far as your comment about the fans that like both teams that was uncalled for. this is just a game and you should not dislike a person based on their preferences of team support. i respect your right of opinion but i disagree with you.

This thread is inspiring me to go to the Browns forums and make a thread called "Any Fans of the Baltimore Ravens in Cleveland?". If I do, I better put on a raincoat, because it'll be a massive "crap"storm headed my way. I will say this, there's no better feeling then walking into Cleveland Browns Stadium wearing your Ed Reed jersey. If you can ignore all the vile names the Brownies' fans are calling you Like I did.

Browns have a huge long suffering fan base, but I would like to think the fans here are classy enough not to go around stirring the pot for kicks. I am not sure why you would expect Indy Colt fans that live in Baltimore on this forum.

I never had any intention. I was being ironic based upon the idea of this thread. I live with a Browns fan, I don't feel the need to go out of my way to deal with more of them.

guys guys come on now. i didn't mean to start a war here i realize there would be no colts fans on this forum i just was curious to know if any of you guys knew anyone. its just a thought because i recently asked a colts fan what team did he root for before the colts came to indy then his response to me was who did i root for before the ravens came to existence. i have found that many indy fans recognize and celebrate the baltimore heritage of the team. then there are some that refuse to accept it those people were bears fans before 1984. indy is a strange place.

on another note i would like to ask you all how did the CFL do in baltimore? was it followed very closely? i talk to a few CFL fans online and they say that when the stallions moved to montreal alot of baltimore fans make the trip to see some games. i also got into an argument with one of them when he said that all baltimore fans followed the CFL more than the NFL.

All my friends were huge Stallions fans, we were actually going get seasons tickets for the family.
BTW I was a Redskins fan in the dark years and I still loosely follow them. Most of the posts like yours are place here to rile up the natives. You have the "get over it" crew, the "Colts were in Baltimore?" crew and the BALTIMORE Colts fans who would never root for the franchise in Indy. And this still reeks of a post trying to start trouble.

NO i am NOT an indy fan i can't stand the few i know, i was just wanting to ask some ravens fans from the baltimore area about some things i was wondering about. i am not from baltimore or any part of maryland for that matter i am from illinois i wanted to know how those of you who have experienced these things over the years thought. being from IL i have a choice of either following the Bears (i hate them by the way) or the Colts (not to fond of them either) or picking a team elsewhere that i have to follow online or with direct tv. since 96' i have followed the story of the ravens (and more specifically the city of baltimore) with great interest. i hated the fact that irsay moved a team with such a rich history but was glad to see a team back in baltimore. so for that matter i became a ravens fan. all i was hoping to get from this forum was a chance to interact with fellow ravens fans that live close to my beloved team. i can see that i am not going to be accepted by most of you although some have been rather friendly to me. therfore accept my aploigies for starting this topic. it is heartbreaking to see that a good amount of you are going to attack me for my curiosities.

Chris if you go back and look at some of the posts from around the Indy games you will see why people are questioning you. Usually the starter of the thread comes back and calls us names and tells us to get over it or some other mess. Feel free to jump into tomorrows camp discussion.

to be honest...and this may just be me....i couldn't careless about the "Old" Colts! why should i? for what?

within the last decade....it was the [b]BALTIMORE RAVENS [/b]that brought a Superbowl Championship to the city! it is the [b]BALTIMORE RAVENS [/b]that has had a top 10 defense for that past 10+ years! it is the [b]BALTIMORE RAVENS [/b]that drafted the face of the organization and the GREATEST LINEBACKER OF ALL TIMES....Ray Lewis. the [b]BALTIMORE RAVENS [/b]did that! not the damn "Colts!"
