Nah the DVDs are strictly the games....unless I totally missed some special features lol.

PS Dierdorf as per usual hates on us, even in 2000.

I've slowly lost respect for him as a color commentator over the years.

 That game must have been torture for a Titans fan. Johnson goes down, multiple fumbles in opponent territory, lapses in coverage.

And staying on topic, Ray lit up Ahmard Hall.

I was pretty angry when it happened to.

It was either Ivy or Bart. I'd say Ivy screwed up more because it appears he was meant to be covering the flats.

Yes you did! Scott was dropping back, reading Collins while totally ignoring the FB in the flat. Ray popped him and knocked the ball loose, if Hall was just a little further from the sidelines the game wouldn't have been so close. Credit to Hall, though, for converting the third and long.

I think, judging from the pre-snap movement, that Ivy was lined up to cover the tight end on the left side of the OL. It's my opinion that it was Scott's blown assignment. We should ask Rex, though!

You're right. Ivy started following the TE as he ran a crossing route and only turned after Collins threw the ball.

Coverage was never Bart's strength. I'm hoping Cam goes after him Dickson and Pitta next season.

No, no one would ever accuse Bart Scott of being a strong cover-man LOL. And I hope so, also he should find a way to get McClain squared up on Cromartie, that's a big gain every time.

Ya I thought it was just a simple cover 1 that Bart just totally blew...and I agree targeting their LBs in coverage is crucial to our offensive success.

That hit also has a nice reverberating impact that goes beyond Ahmard thinking his mother is waking him up to go to school, it harks back to the days of Ray stealing the souls of warriors like Eddie George. Now the names are different, but he's still doing the same thing.

Speaking of the formiddable number 52 - I need some help from my fellow fans. I could swear there is a story about Ray's rookie year when he shows up at the gym and challenges anyone to do more pull-ups than him. I think someone does 50-something pull-ups then ray hops on the bar and does just one more than the previous guy. Does this ring a bell for anyone and if so, would you have a link to where I could find the story? Thanks fans - 2010 is gonna be a great year in Bawlmer.

This is NOT going to turn into a discussion of Ray's comments about Tebow. We've tried this.

No other on the field captain gets more out of his Co-athletes then Ray does.
On the field everyone wants to earn his respect and they go hard to get it.

Honestly, aside from his work ethic and his amazing natural talent, what I love about Ray is that he's not just about himself, when it comes to football. He's about the Baltimore Ravens, he's the very definition of a team player. Especially when you hear him say this regarding preparing Kindle for the pros:
"The bottom line is, whatever you need off the field, then let's figure it out," Lewis said. "Let's stay after late if we've got to stay after (practice). Come over to my house. Whatever we've got to do, we'll figure it out."
That quote comes from the article on NFL.com about Kindle backing off him claim to be the next Rookie of the Year.
(Source)

Anyways, Ray will do anything he can to get his team mates prepared, ready, and playing the best football they possible can. Very, very few players display the sort of work ethic and focus on the team as a whole as Ray does.

Antonio's already shivering and falling out of bed just thinking about that Mac truck coming at him. I hope that happens at least once, just to see Cromartie run for his life instead of even pretending a tackle attempt. Maybe he'll man up and extend one arm a few inches like he usually does from five feet away.

Three words describe Ray Lewis: leader, dominant, and physical. approaching his fourteenth year in the league i don't believe he's lost a step. of course you're gonna get slower because you get older but Ray Lewis has grown as a player through his years with baltimore. wisdom is the key. Ray Lewis is the wisest player on the defense and stresses that in the huddle every play. you can hate him or love him but if you are a true football fan you won't forget Ray Lewis. a definite hall of fame inductee after he retires Ray Lewis/University of Miami/Baltimore Ravens/Twenty Six overall pick in the 1998 NFL draft/ 2000 superbowl MVP/the greatest middle linebacker to ever play in the NFL
He's the player that won me over. When I picked up my copy of Madden 2005, I saw him on the cover and kind of knew who he was, but still wasn't familiar with football or the Ravens. I then popped the game in and played with Baltimore. I fell in love, and have been in love ever since.
