Personally would love to see Favre beat them for the Superbowl (he'd probably retire then).

I think the AFC teams always stand the best chance. The Chargers have a lot of talented players on their team. But will Phillip & LT play.

Well...when you play the Patriots, its like playing 2 teams at once. If you want to consider the officials being their second team(I for one think that). I think their legacy will go on to the Super Bowl, and win it. Of course I will be rooting for those Bolts this week. My pick would have to be the Giants. If they play 60 minutes like they did against the Cowboys, I think they could do it. First they have to beat the Packers, which I hope they don't. Even though the Giants were my team before the Ravens came aboard. GO PACKERS!!

i think the packers stand the best chance but honestly, the pats would still have to make a few costly mistakes themselves in order to lose.

but you never know, it's one and done and that is the mystique of the playoffs.

I'm gonna go with San Diego. Because if they can pull out a win against Indy without Rivers

or Tomlinson, they definately have a chance. I still say that the ravens were the closest ones

to beating them. 2 yards. That was a heartbreaker. Mark Clayton. XD

of the teams left, I think the Packers have the best chance not that it is a very good one. but the reason why is because they have the most balanced offense and if they can get Charles Woodson to play the game of his life, they would only need him to man up on Moss which will help the defense tremendously.

As glad as I was seeing the Colts lose to the Chargers, I thought that the Colts had the best shot in the AFC to take down the Pats. I wouldn't count out Green Bay, though.

I'm torn. On the one hand, I would really like to see Favre pull a miracle pass in the last seconds to win but on the other I'd really like for someone to shut Shula up.

It's like trying to pick the lesser of two evils.

I'm sticking with the chargers, but you guys bring up a good point. II would love to see Brett Favre

put a whoop on the pats. I want to see Tom Brady loose a super bowl.

We've already been through this! having someone shut up shula would create a new shula, one that will live for longer and had a longer undefeated season.

Maybe the Patriots will have so much respect for Brett Favre, and what the Packers have done for football this year. That they will concede and let Brett "Humble" Favre go out and retire with one last superbowl ring.

I think you forget that the Patriots are all about destroying everything that is good and decent.

Who cares who beats them as long as they loose. I'm so sick of Tom Brady, Rodney Harrison, and the hoodie. Brady was lucky to go the Pats to bad he didn't end up in Oakland so I wouldn't have to see his stupid face when I walk though the mall or pick up a sports mag. I jope this year the pats loose and they end up looseing Samual,Moss, Teddy Bruski,Seau. I was hopeing the Colts would have played them again but thier d blew that one. DId anyone else hear what they said on ESPN on sunday about the Colts? They said that all 22 starters have never played for another team. Now thats impressive.

I guess I can be in the part where I have to "Defend my Pick". The reason i didn't say Packers is because Favre isn't the best QB in Domes. I think he is like 13-27 in domes. I was actually hoping for the Packs to win though against the Giants; ;. As for Brady hes 11-1 in Domes, and we all know where he got that 1 loss from. So is it a big giveaway for the Patriots to win the Super Bowl? Probably...but the reason I picked the Giants also is because they already know what the Pats are all about. I hope this time they can pull the biggest upset of the century.

The Patriots will win the big game. However, I still believe the Giants match up better against them than Green Bay. Did you see Plaxico abusing Al Harris all night? Given how much time Brady is given by his line, he would have had a field day against the Packers' secondary.

The Giants are going to have to rely on excellent pressure from their DE's, blitz Brady frequently and attack the Pats with their passing game early and often if they are to offer any competition to the Pats. I think they have the personnel to keep it close.

Isn't it Ironic the team that had the least amount of votes, is the team that has to beat them?

ESPN has a pole (actually about one million poles) asking fans from each team who they are rooting for. It would appear that only New England fans own the majority of any team fan base rooting for the Patsies....okay that sounds confusing. Let's try this: The majority of each team's fan base seems to be rooting for the Giants, with the exception being the New England fans (of course). That sounds better. BTW - I think I may be "that one guy" who voted for the Giants on this thread.

GO GIANTS!!!
