I'm sure we've all noticed in recent years that Chris Collinsworth has taken over the Madden franchise announcements.

Well it looks like finally he has his own game!!!

While I agree on damn Corso (I'm tired of hearing "Sweetheart" and him whistling), I've never, ever liked Collinsworth and it's not just in Madden. I can't stand him on Sunday Night Football, he's like the master of the obvious. At least when John Madden was still calling you got a master of the obvious as well, but a senile master of the obvious.

Of course he gets bonus points taken away for his Madden performance. Namely for the lines:

"It just seems like every week is the Ben Roethlisberger week!"
"Joe Flacco just seems like a wild thrower"
Then he'll say
"Joe Flacco seems to get it done, week in and week out" Which is it, Chris?

I understand your dislike Collinsworth because he does have a polarizing personality. And he does point out the obvious but I also think he picks up some of the finer points of the action during games.

But to each his own...

I agree with Demon on Collinsworth his voice just annoys me ,but like Reed said to each his own.I think its funny in Madden when he says this guy has been doing such and such in the nfl for years,and the player he is speaking of is a rookie

I don't get the whole "Ask Madden" option.... and I'm up by anything except for 2 scores.... and I hear madden say "Well, being up by 2 scores, just run the ball; if you get a first down here then you win"

I hate Collinsworth. I feel like he hates the Ravens. Whenever he announces the Ravens games you can tell he's rooting for the other team.
