Madden 11

Seems interesting. No more turbo speed and all the RB skill moves are on one analog stick. Plus you can have the calls come in from the sidelines.

that sounds a little weird but it might be fun,i like how you can set up which plays will be called like making your own playbook,guess ill have to wait and play with it to really give it a good or bad

I like the no speed burst as now the actual speeds of players will become relevant and you'll have to take angles to make tackles on defense, and actually run threw the holes your supposed to on run plays. NHL EA games did this a couple years ago and it vastly improved the gameplay and realism IMO. Glad to see Madden will do it.

This years Madden will be awesome! I'll miss speed burst but if they're trying to make the game more realistic, I'm all for it.

I'm a little skeptical on the no speed burst thing in Madden. While I know they did it in NHL a few years ago and it did make the game better it isn't the same. "Sprinting" is different than speed burst IMO. It's different than NHL because in Madden you need to know when to sprint.

For example if you get to rambunctious with sprint and run past the RB and look like a fool. Or when doing a run play sprinting is MUCH more effective after you find the hole. Basically I think it's making the skill of players more balanced which isn't cool. Just look at NHL 10 vs 09, the AI seems twice as good and the defense is all over you which basically makes it easier for players who aren't as good because it's not forcing them to play the Defence like you had to in 09.

I like the idea of gameflow. I don't have a ton of technical football knowledge so I usually just used "Ask Madden" anyway. No turbo button will take some getting used to but I think it's a good idea. The new controls for the ball carrier moves sound like a great addition. BTW, I recommend pre ordering on Amazon, you'll get a 20 dollar video game credit when the game ships. .

Cody's is probably going to stick. Kindle's should change, I'd think. If I remember correctly, 49 was the only number available to him. After cuts a more fitting number should open up, I'd imagine.

I would say he'd rank pretty low considering he wasn't as successful at it. In fact, he should grade highly in "elusiveness" if anything.
