Friends

o.k. guys, just wondering, how come when i check out other people's profiles ( and we all do it ) there never seems to be too many friends listed. as fans and supporters of the baltimore ravens, aren't we all friends in one way or another? sure we have disagreements and what not, but there isn't a subject ever created where everyone has agreed on everything. i'd like to see more of us considering one another as " friends " in atleast the fact that we are all apart of the same fan base. just something i took notice to. i know i'm still somewhat new in some people's eyes, but i have a voice too just like the rest of ya'll.

Frankly, I rather find the concept of unknown "friends" a little creepy, but I guess that's just me. I sort of like to get to know people in person before I consider them "friends".

Besides, what does adding someone as a friend do? Do you get notified when they're online or something? I'm unclear on the functionality of the friends feature though I have received emails telling me that someone added me as a friend.

yeah i'm going to eventually i'm just getting into the forum thing. I've been reading it ever since it's been up just was too lazy to make a profile. As far as i'm concerned about the friend thing though is we all have one thing in common and thats the Ravens. Thats enough reason to be friends online with anyone.

it's not about meeting people. it's the fact that we all follow the same team and we're all in the same boat. it's like when someone asks you what neighborhood you're from. what team do you follow.....the ravens. it's like an NFL community.

very true....people do get upset when someone disagrees. but you know what?....those few need to realize that everyone on here is entitled to their own opinion.

that's why this is labeled " general discussions " and not " general agreements "

False. If you disagree w/ tehFranchise and Raven07 you will be dominated.

Thats only if you cant handle them. You have to be able to back up your thoughts for 3 or 4 pages but you dont have to be "dominated".

That's 'cause I confuse people by writing paragraphs that never get read all the way through.
