I don't know, the guy played well in a Ravens Uniform. We sort of miss that coverage LB.

I'm all for giving someone a second chance. He realized the big difference between the Ravens and Patriots Organization. He know the Ravens org treats their players the best in the league. I think he gets back to somewhere he enjoys playing (Baltimore) and AD the player is back.

I've never felt like I'd be surprised if an FA didn't sign with a particular team, but if the Jets don't land Adalius I would be.
I get the feeling he's the sort of guy that would be thrilled to try to stick it to the Pats twice a year.

Is he talking about the Ravens or Patriots in that statement? I'm confused, what's new.

I'm not surprised that he was released. It seemed like it was coming.

Which led to:

“You don’t become a Super Bowl champion in this business without having character and dignity in what you do for your teammates. We won a Super Bowl without Adalius Thomas. The New England Patriots won three Super Bowls without Adalius Thomas. You’re talking about a guy – great talent, great talent, don’t ever get me wrong – but systematically we had to fit him into our scheme. Now is that discrediting A.D.? No. A.D., we appreciate you. But when you go and you do your own thing, do your own thing. You got your money, you’re with a new team, be with your new team. But when take a shot at men who you claimed you loved to go to war with, I call those (types of guys) cowards." - Ray Lewis

PuRock, those assumptions you just made [s]up[/s] are completely wrong.
I deleted my post because I don't know what AD thinks. What I said earlier wasn't meant to be stated as fact, just as my personal opinion.

But how can anyone argue that the Ravens treat their players better than most organizations in the league? I've heard the Patriots organization is like a boot camp, eveything is secret, nobody can say anything. While the Ravens give their players a top notch training facility, player's coaches, the ability to have off-time radio shows, etc. Players love playing in Baltimore. (now I don't know if this holds true for AD).

But what AD said right after he signs with the Patriots is completely different than what he would say now, wouldn't you think? The grass is always greener on the other side.

Adalius also said this earlier this year in regards to the Patriots Organization:
He told Boston radio station 98.5 The Sports Hub in February that he wasn't sure whether he would be released but he said he wanted to play "somewhere where I'm wanted and where I'm going to have fun. That's where I want to be."
Did he not have fun in Baltimore? He was very respected here by the players and fans. That's how I was basing my assumption.

Too bad he had to turn his back on the Ravens and make it ugly. Which is why he won't be back as a Raven.

I'm surprised nobody see's him possibly going to Arizona

They lost LB Karlos Dansby, idk who they drafted to replace him.... but AD makes sense there... I could see him possibly in Miami as well as New York

Let Rex and the Jets take him, that's where I see him going.

If Adalius wasn't on the 00' Superbowl team who was repping #96 at the time because I'm positive we had one.

Adalius was on the Superbowl winning team in 2000. He was a rookie. He was inactive for 12 of the games and played only in 3. I think what Ray was eluding too is that he wasn't a main cog in our defense.

No way we bring AD back... as others have said, I wouldn't be surprised to see Rex and the Jets bring him in to the fold.

We don't need him.

Kansas City, Cleveland, Miami, Tampa, Detroit and a few others need pass rushers bad.

100% Correct.
A.D. was good when he was with us, but than he started talk some crap about Ravens and Ray Lewis. Some fans might not remember interview with Ray, but he was upset with some comments made by A.D., and at the end of the sentence he said "So What He's Got 2 Pro Bowls, I Can Quadriple That !!!
So, I think there is no desire on Ravens part to bring him back. We have already moved on and have "Stacked" our LB positions.

I don't think the Jets can sign him due to the "Final Four" rule. He might go with Nolan in Miami.
That would also be cool. Like I said, personally I don't care as long as he's not here. The stuff he said once he got to NE really angered me.

Well, from what I heard on Total Access, it doesn't look like he'll be with the Jets. If I remember correctly, they stated that there's little interest in Thomas from the Jets. I suppose Miami could use him though. Plus, he'd still get to stick it to the Pats twice a year.

I was thinking maybe he goes to 49ers and renunites with Singletary. I mean they did draft OLB Navarro Bowman and and they got Willis and Spieks in the middle, so why not get another solid or decent OLB to apply pressure.

Yeah I saw that Miami would be interested in signing him but according to the Miami Herald, Koa Misi who I believe was a 2nd rounder has been impressive in mini camp for the Dolphins. If they are happy with him than I don't think AD will end up in Miami. Another team for him would be Green Bay, Aaron Kampman didn't work out well at Linebacker, and they have young second year player Brad Jones as the slated starter right now, and maybe Green Bay can bring Thomas in to play opposite of Clay Matthews for a year or two until Brad Jones is ready to start full time. Hopefully AD lands in a good situation and he can finish his career on a strong note.
