The Steelers and Pats REALLY loaded up. Maybe because I'm familiar with so many of the prospects they drafted but I think both teams had two of the best drafts this year(on paper).

Haha the Patriots had to many picks to "miss" a lot! In all seriousness they do decent every year so no surprise :).

Steelers had a nice, solid draft. I thought the Jason Worilds pick was a bit of a reach. They got the kind of players they like though for sure.

I don't know how people can dog on the Bengals draft. I thought it was a very sound draft. A lot of guys that we were talking about drafting here. Gresham and Ghee. They've also addressed needs and should be ready to go in the 2010 season.

I'm really satisfied with our draft again this year filling major holes on the offensive side of the ball that was much needed. Picked up a few good defensive players too such as another solid CB. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the results now I just hope they lead into big results on the field come September!

The saints are gonna be even better with Charles brown as their LT and jimmy graham is a sick athletic TE for brees

Patrick Robinson will upgrade their secondary instantly. Come December he might be their best CB.

We don't play the Rams this year so I'm not worried about Bradford until whenever we play the Rams again. Nor do we play the Giants, or Redskins. Yeah we got some pretty stiff competition this year but I think we'll be able to win. I want to see who thinks can run the ball on us, between Cody and Ngata, I don't think so.

I didnt really think the Steelers had the best draft this year.

But imo the Panthers and Cincy got beast players.

Agreed. And Tracy Porter had a pretty good 2009 season even before the Super Bowl.

I actually didn't take good look at Cincy's draft. I'd rank them ahead of the Steelers actually.

Gresham, Dunlap, Ghee and Atkins are all very talented players that fit what they do. Muckelroy adds depth and Briscoe could devleop into a #2 WR one day.

Forgot about him. He'll probably be a better Quan Crosby. I don't know how he'll do in the catching department this year though with Johnson, Bryant, Caldwell and now Gresham catching balls.

I'm not really sold on Caldwell, from what I seen of Shipley in college he should be pretty good. A lot compare him to Wes Welker of the Patriots. We also signed Matt Jones so he'll be battling for a job too, should be interesting that's for sure.

You guys should have the same "problem" we have this year. Too many good pass catchers just not enough balls to go around!

I would be careful comparing anyone to Wes Welker. I like Shipley but a comparison like that is setting yourself up for disappoitment, although I do the same with Ravens players so no biggy :).

I feel the Bengals definitely had a better draft than the Steelers even though only time will tell. I am still very confident in our own draft and feel we match up well pick for pick with anyone :).

We'll see what happens.

I wouldn't count on Matt Jones though. He'll make the random one-handed diving catch but drop an easy pass on a curl.

I never compared him to Wes, but a lot of people do. I know ESPN did during the draft or maybe NFL Network, I can't remember. But, I'm not counting on it, then again I do have faith in Shipley so we'll see. It's always good when you have "too many" WR's, definitely got a variety to choose from. Wouldn't surprise me if Jordan took Caldwell's job. We'll see, I can't wait though.

I think the Bengals picks pose more of a threat immediately than the Steelers did. The Bengals got 3 guys that could start for them next year, and if someone can turn a lightbulb on in Dunlaps head he could be nasty. However the Bengals have some serious question marks as well with their picks. What if Gresham's knees dont hold up? What if Dunlap never gets it together?

I don't count the pre-season. We will see Bradford for like a quarter, maybe 2. I'm not truly worried about their draft picks along with the Giants and Skins until we face the NFC West & East again. Until than I could care less what they do and I wish Bradford the best of luck on turning the Rams around and hope the other rookies do well. The only thing that I care about in the pre-season is how the Ravens do and who makes the final roster.

Doubtful. The Carolina really want to give Matt Moore a fighting shot. Teams realize the danger of starting a QB to early. Matt Moore will obviously be on a short leash. It's possible we might not see Clausen start until after the lockout year in 2012.

On a side note. The Ravens have never beat the Panthers or New England in the regular season. We get a chance to knock the Panthers off that list this year.

If I were a Steeler fan, I would be disapointed at drafting two OLB's when they have Woodly and Harris. They had some other needs to fill. They must have been the BPA on their board. I think the Ravens had the best draft of the AFC North. I think that Kindle and Cody are going to take a lot of snaps next year on D and we will have a nice rotation of TE's.
