Lar'on Landry and Dawan Landry are brothers. And I do not know what John McCain has to do with any of this.

Are you high?

Kind of inappropriate to say, considering I wouldn't ever do anything like that.

I just said McCain because there was some other McLain dude, but I forgot his name.

Well, Samari Rolle and Antrel Rolle share a common bloodline through their last name, according to an article in ESPN Magazine (I believe) that detailed the history behind the Rolle family name by way of (I believe) The Caribbean and a certain region of Africa.

And, of course as others mentioned before, Dawan and LaRon Landry are brothers.

As for the 313 sets of brothers in the history of the NFL, that doesn't seem to be that much of a stretch, given the traditional 53-man roster today for all 32 teams yields 1,696 players in the league in any given season. This is especially likely considering how the league has been in existence for roughly 88 years, and the fact that roster limitations were not imposed until much later.

Father/son duos are rarer only because of the limited number of generations in which the league has spanned throughout its existence.

Actually, Le'ron is nephew of John McLaine, who you may remember saved a bunch of hostages in the Nakatomi Building from the evil clutches of Hans Gruber a few years ago.

LOL. I'm glad I scrolled to the bottom before I posted the same exact thing. Anybody that is related to a guy that takes out a helicopter with an un-manned car is going to play smash mouth football.

They mentioned that in the Titans game I watched last night on DVD. Those sports announcers really love whoever we're playing against.

You guys forgot to mention the ones with the EXACT same names....

Adrian peterson (vikings and bears)...tony gonzalez (colts and chiefs)..

the 49ers have 2 michael lewis's! (one on D and one on O)

Makes fantasy football drafting very interesting...know your names and which team.
