Want A Good Laugh?

I was looking over the draft page on ESPN.com and came across the section with highlight videos from past draft. This is McShay's draft grades for the AFC north in the 08 draft. LMAO @ Limas Sweed was the best WR in that draft. Look at the Browns' picks. Ever heard of ANY of them???

it just goes to show , you never know - until you know.
many things look great on paper ( or in college) but until they play with the big boys,
you can never tell what will happen

Draft "experts" are full of it. I love when that one coach (forget his name) ripped Mel Kiper, but its true, they analyze based on measurables alone. You never know how a player will translate into the NFL until he straps up and hits the field

It's always fun to look back at previous drafts and marvel at how wrong the scouts are about some of these players. Thats why when people get angry about the team passing on a prospect or drafting a player they dislike, I chuckle. You only know whether the team made a good decision at least 3 years down the line.

McShay has lost a lot of credibility with me.... he didn't even mention Ray Rice falling to us in the 2nd Round. Not to mention he put the Browns ahead of us and said Limas Sweed was the best WR in the class
