Thumbs Up Or Down On New Draft Format

I prefer the old format but it's purely for personal reasons. I work nights during the week so I much prefer being able to relax on a Saturday morning to watch as opposed to having to get ready to go to work right after or, in Thursday's case, a little before the draft ends. If it weren't for that I'd probably prefer the new format. Maybe I'll try to get off that Thurs. And Fri. next year.

Right here, they should of had more than just round 1 on the first night. I couldn't agree more, it felt like the 1st round was done in an hour.

Agreed. Like I said the only problem is that it should have started earlier and if it starts earlier we could get in Round 2. Round 1 is special so some say it deserves its own night, but I say with the way the round went by in 3 hours, if you start at say 3PM-5PM, you could fit in both the 1st & 2nd Rounds in one night. Really, the first two rounds is where teams are going to find their future at primarily. I think it would be best the way Awaken The Demon said, First 2 rounds on Thursday, 3-5 on Friday and 6-7 on Saturday. I really wish too, that they shorten the time on the clocks that teams get, I mean you have all these things that help you scout a player, you would think by the time a team is put on the clock they will turn the card in and know who they want. That would speed things up as well.

One thing I would really like changed is having fans at the draft. I'm tired of hearing BOOING and anti-team chants at a place other than a game.

First of all, whoever is on the stage making the pick... whether it be the commish, or a team's fan from Make-a-wish, or a former player, they all look very awkward when the fans start to boo.

And I'm not saying all of these kids are angels coming out of college, but a lot of them don't deserve it.

And half the time I can barely hear the important information because of the fans chanting or yelling.
