He is forbidden from participating in team activities while suspended. He does not even count towards our 53 man roster in those weeks.

UIR requires that the player be out for a Definitive time number one as it stands this is an indefinate basicly your in the same situation as dallas with pacman you got a free floater taking up space that no one wants , news from the steelers TRADE option cause of whats wanted for him DEAD

Nah. Ben is out 6 games. It can be reduced to 4 or increased to 8 depending on Ben and Goodell. If the league tried to pull any crap like you're talking about, they'd have to deal with some serious action by the Steelers, Ben and the Players Association. But I DO wonder how much action he'll see in the pre-season. Hmmm...

If you think Ben will go more than 4 games you're kidding yourself. The info is out there, I've read it myself, seen it on TV and heard it on the radio. I'm sure you can find it if you wanted to.

Don't think for a second that Ben isn't going to be focused and serious about coming back and regaining the respect of his peers either. I think in the long run, we're all going to be better off....except maybe for you guys.

All I'm curious about is if the Steelers will let him take snaps in the pre-season. I was not under the impression that the suspension started before week one. His salary doesn't start until then either.

The Ravens know that. I'm sure we'll get their best no matter who we put out there.

Steelers on the road is still a 50/50 game without Ben.

Honestly, Ben playing only affects the games outcome about 10%. So a 60/40 game becomes a 50/50 game. The Steelers are a strong organization with many other good players.
