Can't believe we have to go through another year with no home Monday Night game. Especially when the Jags get one......
i think this may be worse.... the Chiefs have a Monday Night Football game in Kansas City right after our game with the Jets. The MNF Doubleheader continues with the Chargers @ Chiefs at 10:15PM following the Ravens vs Jets. The Jets have 3 MNF games. 2 of those are home(Wk 1 and Wk 5 vs Vikings)

As a season ticket holder, this schedule sucks.
No game until week 3, then 3 games in December, 1 during the night.
i was thinking the same thing, really sucks having our season home opener in week 3

I'm not really much for calling wins and losses when a schedule comes out but we possibly could be 0-2 going into week 3
Thoughts?

I think that stretch of games the Ravens will win out, The schedule this year isnt that difficult especially if Ben misses the first match up when they are at home

Looking at the schedule I don't see any reason we couldn't go something like 13-3 or 12-4 but until the team gets onto the field there's no point in such lofty predictions.

I'll take a conservative 10-6 prediction

Start of the season looks very tough. Jets in the opener on Monday Night, wow, didn't see this one coming.
Week 1
Well, I like our chances, we going in with nothing to loose, pressure is on them. I'm sure they will have their All Out Show On at the new stadium and here comes Sanchez to face Ravens D-fense?! Yeah, JETS Superbowl Bandwagon might run into a roadblock!
Week 2
What concerns me more is, after the opener with Jets,we go on the road against the very good Bengals team on the short week, so that could very tough to win.
Week 3
Brownies at home, this should be like eating brownies at grandma's - easy
Week 4
On the road to Pittsburgh, we know how that goes - it's always close game. A lot of it depends on Big Ben's status, most likely he will be available, and if not, they got Leftwich now. Either way, it's time to kick some *** and spill their ketchup.
Week 5
Broncos at home, it should be a win, it may not be easy as last time, but still a win.
Week 6
In Foxboro with Brady Bunch, that's a question mark. I know we spanked them last time, well this time they might be "more prepared" and have Wes Welker back. Win is certainly possible, it's gonna be close
Week 7
Buffalo at home, I don't see any reason why we should have any problems with beating Bills, they might be little better than Browns, but not better than Ravens.
So, I guess going into BYE WEEK we could be 7-0 or 3-4 at worst, or somewhere in between. After that we could have almost clear sailing, except the Saints and Steelers at home, and dangerous Texans on the road.

Who says we can't be 16-0? I like to keep my hopes up high about the Ravens and never think negative.

is it wrong of me to hope that rothliesberger is suspended 4 games.....that way we don't face him in pittsburgh!!!!!
You can think that, but guess what?
I bet you Roger Gooddell will suspend him for less than 4 !?

I think he has to at least match Santonio Holmes suspension, but who knows. I'd LOL if it was 3 games.

I don't want to start predicting wins and losses. The schedule is tough but barring any major injuries, the Ravens should be fine.

The bye coming in mid-season is perfect.

Doing some schedule re-search and breaking it down, it looks like the prime time games were more spread out amongst the league this year:

- 23 different teams will be shown on Monday Night Football. Jets have the most with 3.

- 16 Different Teams are shown on Sunday Night Football. Steelers have the most SNF games with 4.

- All 12 Playoff Teams from last year have at least 1 game on Monday Night Football.

- 11 of the 12 playoff teams have a Sunday Night Football game, with the exception of the Cardinals who don't have a SNF game.

NFL Network Games:

Week 10: Ravens @ Falcons

Week 11: Bears @ Dolphins

Week 12: Bengals @ Jets

Week 13: Texans @ Eagles

Week 14: Colts @ Titans

Week 15: 49ers @ Chargers

Week 16: Panthers @ Steelers

Christmas Night: Cowboys @ Cardinals

There is more of a variety here on the teams who play on NFLN but that's more due to them only having 8 games.

Teams who have the most Prime Time Games: Jets, Patriots, Steelers, Eagles, Chargers, Colts & Cowboys each have 5 prime time games. Super Bowl winning Saints have 4 Prime Time games plus they play Dallas on Thanksgiving.

Teams who did not get a Prime Time Game on MNF, SNF or NFL Network:

- Lions
- Raiders
- Seahawks
- Bills
- Buccaneers
- Rams
- Browns

7 teams left out of the Prime time slot, amazingly it's all teams who are drafting in the top 10. Surprised the Chiefs got a home MNF game. That's pretty much the breakdown of the Prime time games this year, there is more variety this year as you can see on the teams has half the league is shown on SNF and 23 different teams are shown on MNF. Glad to see that teams awarded prime time games were playoff teams from the previous season.

Itll be Shaune Greene on the ground for the Jets. He's a big powerful back, so maybe that plays into our favor a little bit more with out LBs. Their Oline is outstanding though, so our D-line is gonna have to hike their gitch up for that game and come to play with a mean streak.

Well yes J-man. One tends to be a fan of their love interest. lol

Anyway, Ben gets a 3-game suspension and I'm laughing my rear-end off. Of course that'll be short lived if we can't ruin the Ravens day.

Opening up on Monday night against Rex is going to be a beautiful thing, and I think we have a great shot to beat them... I'm also really looking forward to Flacco v. Ryan on Thursday Night Football :)

I'm sure there wont be this big of a build up for his suspension for it only to be 3 games.

I personally like the fact that we play on the road early and at home late. That's probably the main overall trend I look for when I first view the schedule each year.

I'm also glad we don't play the Steelers week 17. Because in case one of us ends up resting our starters in the last week of the season, it doesn't happen for one of those games. That would ruin SOME of the competitiveness of this extreme rivalry.

Brutal start to the season. The first 3 games will show what the Ravens are made of.

More like the first 6 games.
