Ravens 2010 Regular Season Schedule

Jets in week 1 is absolutely awesome. No santonio. We are going to shut that running game down and pressure the mustache off Sanchez. Anquan vs Revis is a great match up too. Mase will be the featured man.

Steelers schedule is rough. Big games without Ben. A brutal 3 road games mid season. Opponent after bye is a cupcake.

Their schedule looks like it will be easier than the Ravens. They get to play most of the tough opponents at home, while Baltimore will have to travel to Atl, NE, and NY.

Half of their first four games are at home, so that's easier than going on the road without their qb.

As a season ticket holder, this schedule sucks.
No game until week 3, then 3 games in December, 1 during the night.

Why are we the ever so popular road opponent for prime time games? When is the last time we hosted a monday nighter? I'm thinking KC many moons ago

Have to agree. 3 of the first 4 weeks on the road, then we're stuck with a December night game and a January game. Oh well, at least the January game is 1:00 (if it doesn't get flexed).

Forget the Steelers. We're the Super Bowl contender. They're contemplating trading they're franchise QB.

i don't understand ravens @ texans on mnf. last time we played them in houston we whipped their *** all over reliant stadium.
[/quote]

The Texans were close to a Playoff team last year and considering the Ravens-Texans game is Week 14, the league probably put it on MNF because it may wind up effecting the seeding of the AFC Playoffs. The League wants to cut down on teams resting players and the division games at the end helps and putting teams who may challenge for a playoff spot at the end of the schedule against each other helps as well.

I did notice that we have the Bengals, Browns and Steelers all back to back in weeks 2-4. I also noticed the same thing with the Jets, having the Pats, Dolphins and Bills in weeks 2-4. That will be interesting but I don't see the point of scheduling all your divisional rivals back to back to back in weeks 2-4, i understand Weeks 16 & 17, but early on, I'm a little puzzled by that. I am not making any predictions this close to the draft based on the schedule. I'm waiting for the draft to be over to see how the rest of the North does in the draft. Love how we have our BYE in Week 8, that will get us ready for the stretch to the playoffs.

I have already marked down Nov 21st as a game to go since I am already in Charlotte, I guess I'll find a home game to go to which may be the Saints. You guys think we'll have any games flexed in weeks 11-17?

Wow, our schedule sure is front-heavy. AT Jets, AT Bengals, AT Steelers, all in the first four games. Followed by the Broncos and AT Patriots. Wouldn't be surprised if we started the season hovering around .500 with that kind of schedule. After that things get much easier though, with only a home game against Pittsburgh and the Saints as games worth mentioning.

I think we'll start off winning and losing and then it'll be easy from there.

The ones I'm thinking could be flexed due to how it may turn out are

Week 11 @ Panthers; Week 15 vs Saints; Week 17 vs Bengals depending on how the playoffs turn out.

and we played their backup in that game not Schuab so we will see

Can't believe we have to go through another year with no home Monday Night game. Especially when the Jags get one......

It would be nice for once to have an early season home night game when I could actually enjoy the weather and not be in a deep freeze

I like how were playing Jets at home, at there new stadium on monday night, will be one hell of a game for us and I think back 2 back away games as our first 2 games this season is gonna be the toughest part of our schedule this year since the bengals have given us trouble in the past as well.
