WNST GMC: Couple of rumors have #Ravens at #Jets September 13
from WNST twitter
[/quote]

Wow... that would be awesome. That's what I'm hoping for is to start off with the Jets on Monday Night on the road. If not like I said I think we may end up with a Sunday Day game against the Bucs. That would be a huge momentum swing for us early on if we can beat the Jets in their new stadium.

They're saying the eagles got 5 prime time games. Really NFL? They're gonna be rebuilding this year and we have to watch them 5 times? Its the browns scheduling all over again. The ravens better get at least 4.

They have a new QB and some holes on D but I wouldn't say they're rebuilding.

Our schedule has us at your place on a Sunday night (not a Monday night).

I need to get tickets to that Giants/Steelers pre-season game: Get to see the new stadium and the little guy gets to see his two favorite teams.

WNST Drew: If Ravens do actually start with Jets and Bengals - with Steelers waiting in week 4 - they have to play Tampa Bay at home in week 3.

Yea we play the Jets on that MNF opener. We might lose...

We also might win. That's how games work.

The Ravens will open the 2010 season on Monday Night Football vs. the Jets at New Meadowlands Stadium on September 13th. Baltimore will also host a Week 13 Sunday Night game vs. the Steelers on December 5th. The Ravens' season concludes with a Week 16 matchup at the Browns and a Week 17 home game vs. the defending AFC North champion Bengals.

yet more prime time games on the road, but at least one at home vs Pit. The start of the year should be the hardest, but we should roll through December with minimum trouble.

This is a good schedule. All those early road games will be tough, but we have to play those teams sometime. I'd rather play them while they have players suspended!

Week 1 Jets means no Santonio Holmes. Also, Sanchez still only has one (bad) season of experience.
Week 4 Steelers might mean no Big Ben.
New Orleans in the winter is great, a nice cold windy day to chill their passing game while we run right over them.

As a season ticket holder, this schedule sucks.
No game until week 3, then 3 games in December, 1 during the night.

Though the early stretch of having 4 road games in 6 weeks is tough, I welcome the challenge. If the team can come out of that stretch at least 0.500, there's hope for the rest of the season considering the team's healthy home record.

If the team is built to win a championship, the adversity of the first half of the schedule will prove it.
