i cnt wait to see wat this guy can do when he gets back from the ACL injury. i thought fabian washington cud be a starter for the ravens but he allows too many big plays but not as much as frank walker. i think we go defensive back in the first round. and get rid of frank walker. i believe if we pick up kyle wilson of boise state. him and webb will be the starters by season end. but onto webb. guy can run and one thing i love is that he is physical and does not shy away from contact. i would like to see him add about 10 pounds to the 179 frame.webb was gonna be the starter last year. his IQ is great. he will be a pro bowler this year if he getz back soon enough

I'm excited to see Webb next season too, even if it isn't till late in the season. I'm not sure if he'd make the Pro Bowl even if he came back early on unless he nabbed a bunch of interceptions. Regardless, he's a quality player and very fun to watch.

As for Frank Walker, he's actually a UFA right now.

Yea, he should be good to go mid way through but he will be second guessing his moves at first. I really don't think going DB in the first is a good option for our team to advance. It has to be either DL or a pass catcher of some sort. Fabian will be back for the start of the season, and foxworth will have a real good year. the second half he was playing great consistently. If we go DB in the first we'll be taking a step back, and have to pay starting salaries to possibly four corners and we can't afford that. Fabian and Fox will be the starting corners and the nickel and dime will be a toss up between carr walker and who ever we draft later on. I do think that Chris Cook From UVA is a great prospect. He's big and physical and that is something we have been lacking in the Corner department since McCallisters departure. He is projected in the second round, so that would be nice for him to fall to us, especially if we got someone like Greshem or D. Thomas in the first.

I disagree. Both Fabian and Carr will be FAs after the 2010 season so if the team were to draft a CB in the first round, they would(assuming Webb comes back strong) have three good CBs on the roster. In today's NFL, you can't have too many good CBs on the roster.

I don't think the team has to draft a CB in the first round(there are a few second round CB prospects I like) but I don't see drafting one in the first round would taking a step back.

As good as Deion Sanders, Duane Starks, and Chris McAlister?

Nothing against Foxy of course, he's a good corner.

At this point in his career I doubt it! Not saying he can't get there because I like Foxworth a lot.

I think I am in the minority but man I don't like Deion at all and never will! He was a great CB no doubt but still overrated in my opinion. Man couldn't/wouldn't tackle and i hate that crap. Sorry had to put that out there when I saw Deion on your list.

Attitude aside, few players have ever shut down their side of the field like Deion did. You may consider him overrated but numerous players and writers can speak on the man's outstanding play.

Look at the '94 season. He missed the first four games of the season but still won DPOY.

If our Pass Rush picks up the pace, then our corners' play will improve. Guaranteed. From various "tweets" of Webb's it seems like he could be on schedule to play Week 1, but that's very optimistic.

LOL! I love him as a player but he definitely isn't the most likable guy.

As for Webb's tweets, I never want to listen to a player when it comes to an injury but would be ecstatic if he was somehow ready for week 1.

What else is a player going to tweet about themselves? They are going to sound optimistic no matter what.

Do you really think any player would tweet this:
"My Recovery is going slow......don't count on me to do very much this year...."?

I don't think he will be ready by week one but hopefully sooner than week 6 would be nice :). We have a tough schedule and he would be a welcome addition!

Well, I don't think he'd tweet anything then if that were the case...

i just hope he gets back on track. you never know how a player is infected with those kind of injuries. i hope he becomes the old one again and gets even better. i think he is a very good player but not THAT great everybody hyping him up right now. i mean he stand out because our secondary was very bad at the moment he chipped in. don“t get me wrong, i love him and if he gets full healed i think he WILL be great but sometimes i think people here talking about revis instead of webb...
